Not a frequent shopper at this location, but I was in the area and figured Id share my experience. This location is definitely in need of modernization and general maintenance. Clearly very old water spots are quite an unsettling eyesore on a distractingly large percentage of the ceiling tiles. A fair bit of the flooring (especially around corners near the rear freezer / fridge units) is coming up or otherwise been stripped away. Clearly this location has been neglected by the bean-counters at the corporate level; i wouldnt recommend avoiding the store, though, the employees are all very helpful and personable, and the shelves were at least well-stocked. Hopefully theyll get a general contractor working here soon.

I love Stop & Shop; it may not have the best prices around, but it has a wonderful deli where you can have your pick of a wide variety of meats and cheeses and determine the slice thickness. Stop & Shop also has a very moderate selection of products, and 90% of the time there will be at least one decent sale going on. The workers here are friendly and most will do their best to help you if youre looking for something and cant find it. The bakery is delicious and almost everything is fresh-baked, just like Shaws. Im very satisfied with my experiences here.

I went there on a Saturday there was one non self-checkout Lane open I went to the self-checkout Lane and the system they have set up to scan your own groceries is ridiculous you have to constantly keep asking someone to come over because it only hold one bag and it makes you keep the bag there as you continue to scan items

New "lower" prices are higher than original. After 8 years of shopping there stopped . Found prices 1/2 at Market Basket for same brands. Hubby is a driver for S & S but will not be going back unless he gets discounts.

This is my store. I know the staff and they are incredibly helpful. I am a coupon shopper and I save so much between sale items and coupons. Store is always clean and organized.

Stop & Shop has always carried a limited inventory, you cant find everything as in other stores. The only thing that I like there is the bakery, good sandwich rolls.

Clean and typically well stocked. Deli personal are hit or miss. Prices are often a bit higher than you could get things if you try.

Bought flowers for a friend. They were nice and reasonably priced. The flower and produce departments were very clean.

I have decided to make Stop & Shop my place to Shop. Ive tried all of the Others, they cant beat Stop & Shop.
