Ive come by Crimson Petal several times for flowers on the way home from work, and have had uniformly good experiences. The selection is very good, the owner is very kind and helpful, she makes great suggestions, its just a great local florist. The one area which needs help is staff - theres sometimes a wait when the owner is there alone and working with someone. Thats probably why another reviewer couldnt get through. But dude, one missed phone call and you gave the place one star? What kind of pathetic review is that?

Due to a computer glitch, the order I placed for my 89 yr-old mother for flowers for Valentines Day never made it to The Crimson Petal. When I called at the end of the day to find out what happened, the owner was very apologetic, and despite the fact that it was the end of a florists busiest day - and the middle of a blizzard - she brought flowers to my mother on her way home. They are beautiful - my mother was delighted - Crimson Petal is awesome.

After my florist stopped responding to my emails, I had to find another. I came into this shop, and I could not be happier that I did. Lee and her staff were so knowledgeable, sweet and were able to work with me a week out from my wedding. They were a genuine pleasure to work with.

Absolutely the best florist in the Boston area. The owner went above and beyond customer service to help me with putting together a bouquet of flowers last minute for a special occasion. The flowers are great and service is superb!
