Our washing machine stopped working, and I called Waltham Appliance. They came to diagnose my machine and determined the controller was broken. Two days later I had to call for the estimate since no one bothered to call me. I was given the part number and learned it was a $128 from Sears Parts Direct but our friends at Waltham Appliance wanted $231 for the same part claiming they could not get it for the Sears Direct price from their wholesaler. Give me a break. What kind of wholesaler are they working with? They refused to let me buy the part or buy it directly from Sears themselves. They are a rip off.

We own a condo in Waltham that we are renting out to tenants that were complaining the stove pilot light kept going out the day before 5 times and causing the house to smell like gas. This was Friday afternoon and Waltham Appliance coordinated with the tenant to fix the problem before the weekend, and for a great price.

Over many years, Waltham Appliance has honestly & accurately diagnosed & fixed dishwashers, refrigerators, washer & dryer in my properties. Theyre straightforward about the cost of repair vs. replacement, too. I hope they never retire!!
