Went in to to return clothes that my MIL had sent my husband as a gift. I asked for a exchange or a credit. The woman behind the counter totally ignored everything I said, and returned the clothes and put the money back on my MILs credit card. Leaving my husband with no "gift". When I complained , the woman said "Im sorry that is how the computer does it. I cant do anything about it." She had used the same exact explanation with another customer in line about whatever she was trying to accomplish at the register. The woman in front of me walked away purchasing nothing. Sensing our displeasure, another sales clerk behind the came over and told us again "that is how the computer does it, we have no control over that" -Really no system in place to get credit for returned gifts? I somehow doubt that. They eventually "offered" to get a manager, but he was "busy". so we left, buying nothing.

The quality of the clothing has gone down in the past couple of times Ive been in there. I love the van heusen line of clothing but the quality is not great. I get the shirt home and wash it and its wrinkled and pilled (yuck). Ive also boyghten some of their Stafford Shirts and have gotten the same results. Im thinking about shopping somewhere else in the future. I might even shop online from now on.

Love shopping here great sales, quality stuff, they always have coupons and the staff are really nice!!! Please shop local to keep stores like this around.

JC Penny is a great store. Great value with sales. The new Sephora store is very nice the people are very nice and great products.
