Jim sounds like he must be an uptight, snooty *expletive.* You want to blame someone, blame whoever put up the wrong information, not the people working at the store. For the most part, the Leicester store is clean, the people are polite (in my experience), and I havent had much trouble finding stuff other than the usual problem with ALL wal-marts having inconsistent stock on a lot of things. Oxford? Really? The Oxford walmart is the location of MY worst shopping experiences. As for complaining about what they wear... Well I worked at a different walmart for a few months and they didnt pay that well and some dont treat their employees too well either. So unless youre going to sign up and work the exact same job they are, for the wages they get, get over it. One thing Ill say about the Leicester walmart is they constantly need more lines open at checkout. Walmarts around the country are cutting costs, cutting corners, the employees are overworked, and the customers have to wait longer. Its not the cashiers fault, its the upper management who give the lower management too few hours to work with for scheduling. Good day.

We all give Walmart an excuse for being mediocre.. after all, they claim to have good prices, right? The tradeoff - lowest cost savings over.. lets say everything else, right? Well the Walmart in Leicester you can expect that the ONLY thing youll get are products. The employees at this location are really so rude. Dont expect a "Hi" or "Good Morning" or if you are looking confused on where to find something, dont expect them to come over and help you. The corporation of Walmart should be ashamed that they allow their customers to be treated so poorly. One day I asked where something was, the guy said "I dont know, probably somewhere over there...", just the other day my wife went in and found that the cashier didnt speak English! For me, a cashier who wouldnt even say one word to me... no "hello" no "it will be $xxx.xx dollars". Heck, I spent almost $400 there and she (BTW, who was REALLY slow at ringing things up) couldnt even annouce the total cost of my order! I guess just dont expect any customer service in that store.

I work weird hours and I cant always get out to shop for food and things during normal hours. I looked up this wal-mart this is 18 miles away and saw that it was open 24 hours. I went to the store at about 11:30 and a bunch of employees were all outside smoking and carrying on and told me that the store was closed. One of them opted to show me the sign on the door and say "See, its right here" Gee, thanks for showing me that great sign that I cant see from my home before I left. Not to mention, Ive been here several times in the past and the prices are ALWAYS higher than the surrounding Wal-Marts. The people that work here are rude, uninformative, and usually have inappropriate appearances. Painted nails, Gothic piercing and jewelry, long unruly hair for people working in the food departments, revealing clothing, etc.. Worst shopping experiences take place here for me. I guess I will have to start going to the Oxford Wal-Mart again.

I have been going here for over 15 years and it is a nice Wal-Mart . I can find mostly everything I need here but most of the employees here could careless about helping me find things if they are not on the shelves. But there are a few and not many employees that go out of there way to help. The 1 person that always does anything he can do to find something is Isa. He will check in the back room if it is not in stock and I can also call him and he will check so I dont have to drive there for no reason. He started out as a regular employee moved up to different departments manager and moved up again to a bigger manager. If everyone else was helpful and kind like Isa , This would be considered 1 of the best Wal-Mart around

I got my haircut and eyebrows & upper lip waxed yesterday and I will NEVER EVER go back! They were extremely nice, they just cant cut hair or do a simple wax for that matter. This lady literally ruined my hair and Im so upset about it, my hair was touching my rear end thats how long it was, and NO I did not want a lot of length cut off, but she decided I did! Both sides of my hair are SO uneven and she literally just chopped chunks out!!! I asked for layers and she had no idea what the f*** I was talking about!!! She literally had her first ever practice session on me!! Im very upset obviously, I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone.

Some of the guys in the Auto department were completely unprofessional and unprepared. They had go out to retrieve my own items because they didnt have it for my car which is a pretty common car and tell me I have to get my own oil as well when I already had my oil but wanted me to get more when I already know my vehicle and how much oil it needs. 1st time ever going to that store location just to get an oil change that I drove over an hour to reach and they wouldnt service me because I did not wont to buy more supplies so they can do their job. I would come back to this location ever again.

I love the super store in Leicester. Wish it was closer. I have one very bad review on the christmas tree sale. THE WORST TREE EVER. After opening it up there is a big gap in the tree that I have to put up against the wall. All the needles are falling off with brown tips on the limbs. already dead tree. Shoot it will be a charlie brown xmas this year. But I did just get off the phone with them and they are willing to exchange it out. The hard part for us we dont have a ride and a friend brought my husband to pick it up. So in all great customer service...

Nicer of the area Walmarts, but customer service can be rough. Tried to break a $20 dollar bill after spending $158 on groceries and was told "sorry we cant do that." Really? Theres NEVER more than 1 person in customer service, even with 10 people in line. Frozen Tyson chicken breasts and anything in that freezer unit is consistently freezer burnt. Always had good service in the automotive TLE department. Self check out usually moves quickly and makes check out fairly quick. Good deli. Clean store compared to Worcesters Walmart.

What can you say about Walmart. My primary reason for going there is they sell some stuff that you cant get in any other store. Also can get in and out of there quickly as long as you steer clear of the peak times (Saturday afternoon, Sunday afternoon, etc.). The self check outs are good since they are rarely backed up and you can get thru them quickly as the registers with cashiers are often backed up with customers with large grocery orders.

The store was buisy but well stocked, and the product was well placed. There were not many registers open on a buisy Saturday afternoon. But the worst part is the womens bathroom, it was absolutely filthy and my wife was ready to vomit after using it. The management there would be well served to institute a policy of having the restrooms checked much more frequently not only when someone complains.
