DONT DO IT! GO ELSEWHERE IF YOU VALUE YOUR TIME! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! Went there to purchase two items today 9/23/2011. Local Oxford, MA Walmart is undergoing a year-long improvement to become a "Super Walmart". Unfortunately, this huge improvement process and no blue shirt Associates visible anywhere past the front of the store left me hunting around 20 minutes to find the "greeting card aisles". If you care, it is not near office supplies and paperbacks in the front of the store. Some mega genius obviously wants greeting cards in the back of the store by the shoe department. Not a fan of people wasting my time on purpose. Due to parking lot being destroyed by construction (big work vehicles/miles of fencing/rooftop air conditioners/big piles of dirt)and store layout making no sense I wasted 37 minutes there today. No wait for a cashier and I paid cash for 2 items, so 37 minutes was driving and walking while searching. I spent no time was reading labels, shopping brands or shopping prices. Two simple commodity items. Find, grab, pay and go. Before writing this I contacted both the local store manager and 800 corporate customer service both noted the complaint and "There is nothing I can do." I guess everyone in Bentonville, AR and everyone in Oxford, MA reports to some enormous robot automaton whom firmly believes greeting cards belong next to sneakers! I did leave my contact info with this store and with the 800 number if either cares to follow up with me. Why would you go out of your way to hide entire product lines and departments from customers? Oddly, the only answer I can come up with is to have them walking/searching/shopping longer.... Walmart management could plan that searching customers possibly walk past more items and likely buy more items per visit, therefore spending more dollars per Walmart visit. This line of thinking annoys me even if there is a measly one percent chance that Walmart could be purposely wasting my time for no good reason. I cannot definitively agree with Gregs review that this is the worst Walmart (as I have only visited a few). I can say it was by far the worst Walmart store and shopping experience. Consider doing following my lead and NOT go to this Walmart or any other Walmart ever again regardless of "Always the low prices, Always". Signed, I am not a mouse, so why go in a maze to look for cheese!

The worst customer service experience ever. I tried to exchange an unopened large package of diapers for the correct size. The first person I spoke with said that it was a law that they do not take back any diapers. I explained that I understood, but this would not qualify as the diapers are sealed inside the large box that is also sealed. When I asked to speak with a Manager - they said there was not one available. After I continued to push, they finally admitted there was a manager, John. John told me the same story. He was not able to tell me anything about this law, just that one existed. He was not able to provide me with a copy of it, nor is there anything on the WalMart website in returns. John also would not provide his last name or even an initial. If this was a policy of WalMarts (as it is NOT a law) and they had kindly and accurately explained that to me this would have been a VERY different experience. Instead I was lied to and then got the run around. Needless to say - dont buy diapers there.

I dare you to try and place an order with their bakery over the phone... Its like they dont want my money. I shop there all the time-- and when I went in to order a birthday cake a couple months ago in person-- it took 20 mins to get someone to help me AT THE BAKERY COUNTER... even when I asked for assistance from another department.. Im currently on the phone now... transferred to the bakery 3 times... as my call keeps bouncing out elsewhere... time ticker at 14:36 and counting... Wish I knew where else to get my son a Blaze&Monster Machines cake nearby-- wtf. I clearly have plenty of time to write this long review. Ill give two stars for the store-- because the rest of the place isnt too bad. Customer service needs improvement-- management needs to give an -S-, and the phones DEFINITELY need dedicated people answering and assisting. This isnt the first time Ive tried to get info over the phone before I went down, and its like diving into a pool filled with concrete...

Regina was very unprofessional tonight while cashing me and my sister out. She was talking with some people about her personal life while trying to do her job by providing the customers the right customer service. She had issues scanning items and had to ask her manager for help couple of times. Also while she was "trying to be helpful" on a decision I had to make about colors, it seemed more like she was trying to rush me while grabbing my item out of my hands without even apologizing. Some employees like her need to be trained on MANNERS! Rude! She deserves a slap on the hands next time she tries it. I could have made her look bad but I didnt.

I never have an issue at Walmart. I expect to wait sometimes at the checkout. I still to this day find the turnstile bagging areas extremely inefficient for large grocery orders and long lines. It really slows cashier productivity and can be exhaustive when having to pull the bags off the rack then go back to loading the belt while either alone or managing a small child. After gathering my groceries, the last thing I want to do is manage your checkout line. I still have to load the car, drive home and unload it, then put it away. Thats a total about three hours+ and I hustle. So essentially, today I paid you $300 to bust my ass for three hours.

I wish I could have left a zero star survey this place has the absolute WORST customer service out of any department store I have ever been. I went there to cash a ins. Check and they were so fast to say "nope this will not work nice try" I felt like a criminal just because I chose to use a service that they offer (for a fee) the check was 100% cashable they gave me a 800# and totaly dismissed me and wouldnt even explain or try to help me at all I go there every single week to cash my payrole check and I will never go to this walmart agian TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE Adelize is the one exeption she is always willing to go above and beyond

Poor customer service. I purchased a cell phone with a 2 yr warranty through walmart 2/13, I asked the sales associate how it works.. he said all i needed was my to know when it was purchased and my name and information. Try getting them to warranty it is a hassle and noone is ever available to help and when you call the store forget...Useless! Rude...and it seems like noone wants to work! Maybe Walmart should pay their associates a little better..or just get new ones all together! Jost my opinion. Loss of 55.00 dollars

Horrible experiences, chronic overcharging at the register, employees hate their jobs and take it out on customers. You can buy most items for a lot less elsewhere, so price is not even a reason to go here. Common items are frequently not in stock, parking is not convenient, and the renovations are disruptive. Other Walmart locations are much nicer, so I will just avoid this location. Manager Robert Sauer has never answered my complaints, so dont waste your time....
