Oh how the mighty have fallen. NAPA used to be a place where you could go in and get quality parts from knowledgeable employees but that has become a thing of the past. Now they seem to only hold on to the dregs of society who have little to no knowledge of automotive parts. I got in touch with the manager before I went in so he could match a competitor’s price for the same exact brand and part. He said he could do that. I told him when I would arrive and if he wasnt there, to let one of the other employees know what the price would be. When I got there 20 minutes later, hed already left so I had to speak to one of the floor salesman. Calling this lazy bum, a salesman is a stretch. The salesman approaches the counter after 5 minutes of waiting and I tell him the part number I need. He decides to ignore that information and asks for the year/make/model and what part Im looking for even though he couldve just punched in the number and made things go faster. He then slowly walks away and returns with the part after a great amount of time has passed. I open the box, that was previously opened beforehand, and one of the parts is missing and two of the parts are supposed to be aluminum. I know this because Ive purchased this part and installed it for another customer before and even the picture shows 2 pieces are supposed to be the revised aluminum elbows instead of plastic. I told him its considered defective since its missing parts and has the wrong materials which is also considered false advertisement. He decided to be ignorant and still try to sell me this stuff. When I asked him if he thought it was ok to sell defective parts, he stared then looked down and couldnt even answer the question. After a minute goes by, he tries to ring up the part. LOL! I told him if he wanted to sell it, put the correct parts in the box and I would buy it. I told him what parts were missing and to go get them. He goes and gets the aluminum elbows that were individually boxed from the shelf and then tries to sell me those along with the original part that was already supposed to have these pieces in it. Im laughing and I decided it would be funny to ask him if he got the message about matching the competitors price. Guess what? He didnt. Imagine my shock! I laughed and decided to walk away because I wouldve been there all night waiting for that undocumented democrat to get it through his lazy head that he had no clue how to do his job correctly. Sadly, his co-workers chose not to accommodate the needs of this poor, destitute "dreamer." Thats another thing I could rant all day about; Im tired of seeing our society being culturally appropriated and shifted to suit people because they have zero interest in acclimating themselves. I hate watching my homeland being degraded to a 3rd world sewer. Back to the issue at hand. Its also sad how NAPA has changed the store to look more like Advance, OReillys, PepBoys, Carquest, AutoZone and try to compete with them but they say their parts and service are better. Really? If thats true, why are they trying to be the competitor? Sadly, I, along with some other good employees, saw this coming miles and miles away when we worked for NAPA so we voluntarily left for better jobs and pay. Im sure the manager and employees are laughing at this review and thats fine because I know Im not one of the dregs of society stuck at a corporate retail store, who hate their jobs and that shines brightly when I, along with other customers, walk in the building. Im happy because I got the part I needed for the customer the next day at a local competitor with the correct materials and Im also happy I make more money than half the employees in that store do.

I went there to get a battery replaced for a vehicle I was working on and ROGER at the desk was awesome to deal with. He was very knowledgeable and friendly and got me the replacement I needed under their great warrantee. I had been in there a few times before but this was worth writing a review since it was such an easy and painless experience. The other parts stores down the street dont know their a$$ from their elbow...this was not the case at all at this Napa store. Thanks again Roger, I will be back in for business because of your great customer service. -RM
