Probably the WORSE S&S I have ever been to. From the management to the employees, just horrible. There is nothing but a bunch of young kids with attitudes working there. The manager seems as though shes too much of a "friend" to manage the place. The lines are ridiculous. Never enough ppl at checkout. But most of all the customer service is something Ive never experienced before. I mean the attitudes because you request to have something double bagged. Or for NO reason at all. Its bizarre. Ive been going to this place since it was Johnnys. I can honestly say the people working and managing that place now is nothing compared to some of the former employees. No organization. Horrible selection of items. And dont get me started on the ethnic food section... because there isnt one. I try to go for toilet paper and that is all. The less I frequent that horrible market. THE BETTER. They need to fire everyone down to Managment.

A little too small, a little too confusing. Decently sized produce section relative to the store size and a nice bakery. Self checkout is the worst Ive ever seen. Your items must go on a conveyor belt after scanning which means: (1) you have to handle each item twice- once to scan, and again to bag it; (2) it takes up extra room in this small store; and (3) more errors requiring you to wait for an employee to reset the machine. Please replace that thing, Stop & Shop. Its bad enough the wrong people use that lane.

Im sorry but dont buy there meat! I have complained in the store with a manager and showed him how the meat had changed color and his response was it had not expired and he put it back. I have emailed headquarters and no response at all. Its a store where you should get last minute items you need. But night management should really listen to there customers complaints. At the beginning I wasted so much money in throwing meat, milk etc away when it was bad and I had just bought it a day before.

This grocery store is near where I live and is not terrible. If I lived closer to a different grocery store Id probably go to that store, but I do not. Its on the smaller side for a grocery store. Sometimes if this place doesnt have what Im looking for then the Stop and Shop in Arlington on Mass Ave does. Everyone Ive interacted with who works at this store has been patient and nice.

Small Stop & Shop. Doesnt have the greatest of selections. Best days to go are Thursday or Friday. Thats when the store seems to get its deliveries for the week and the shelves are stocked. Parking can be tight at times. Employees have always been helpful and courteous. The 3-star ranking is for the physical store and its selection, not for the employees who work there.

I go there because it is close, but they dont carry everything you might need with some notable basics missing. They also seem to have trouble keeping shelves stocked. Dairy in particular is a problem. I often have to switch brands or buy 2 percent rather than whole. One time I went looking for heavy whipping cream to find out the entire store was out.

Standard city grocery store. Produce selection is good, food is pretty fresh. Store is clean and has a good variety of products. Prices are highly than places like Market Basket or grocery stores a little further outside the city but thats to be expected. There is ample parking which is a plus.

This is a relatively small Stop & Shop supermarket located at the corner of 2 major roads in Somerville. Its probably the 2nd smallest one Ive been to and lacks certain selections found in other larger supermarkets. Still, it has the basics and could fulfill most of our grocery wants.

The reason I shop here is because its literally next to my house, but Working there sucks, employers pick favorites and if youre not their favorite... they will do anything to get you "suspended" or "fired". The public bathrooms are disgusting and they use pine cones as freshener

This location is conviniently placed in the middle of my commute home. The food, and especially the bakery in this shop is top notch. However, the rest of the household items might be either in short stock or not available. All in all its a great store for food only purchases.

Stop and Shop is a good neighborhood grocery store that typically has most of the things we need for a weekly grocery trip. At times they could use more staff to answer questoins and better process the checkout lines. Otherwise my experience has been good.

Great, its close to me, but its got the most miserable selection of foods compared to pretty much any other store of its size, and they dont seem to be interested in restocking anything. Not a good reflection on the Stop & Shop brand.

They have a decent parking lot and can usually find parking. Right off the 88, 87 bus routes in case you dont have a car. The store is medium sized, decent pricing, more expensive than Market Basket. Staff are nice and friendly

Smaller sized store, has a decent amount but not as nice as a full sized one. The registers seem to be always busy, and the parking lot always full. May be due to the liquor store next door. Wish I could give it a 3.5 stars

Prices are reasonable, but they mostly carry the basics and even so they are consistently out of stock for at least one item on my list (cumin, seltzer, etc.) That said, the staff is unfailing helpful and friendly.

The 1-star rating is not just for this store, but for the whole chain of stores called Stop & Shop. They have higher prices, and they have the worst website among the ebusinesses or chain supermarkets I have met.

An employee told me that this is technically a Stop and Shop Express which means that they dont stock nearly as many products as a typical Stop and Shop. Ive noticed this especially in the baking aisle.

The fruits are bad half of the time. Holes and dents in the apples. Some of the strawberries have white fur. So u have to shake them around before buying them. I only buy frozen fruits there.

Good neighborhood grocery store. Everytime that I have visited it is decently crowded - but they have all the essentials. Make sure you ask to use the courtesy card to lock in the savings!

Mostly just go here for convenience. Not a great selection, but also usually not as expensive as the Star Market in Porter. Poor produce selection, perfectly fine in most other categories.

Convenient location, but more limited selection than some other local groceries. We had a bad run in with a rude employee here, but his manager stepped in and I think he got the message.

Most everything is great quality but can be pricey sometimes. Bakery is awesome -- better than many area bakeries after Patsys closed. Excellent canolies. Cakes and frosting are fresh.

Selection is limited given its size but youll likely find all what you need. Organic products are limited as well. Clean and well maintained with a convenient large parking lot.

Nice people, clean place, but despite signs all over the store that say the baked goods are Fresh Daily, all of the bread and pastries are three days old. Every. Single. Time.
