Saigon Market is a small Vietnamese grocery store located in South Lawrence. It carries a wide variety of fruits, fresh vegetables, canned goods, Asian beverages, spices, and meats among other things. On weekends, they even have banh mi from Dorchester and other Asian pastries. The store owners are friendly and helpful and I usually can never leave there without buying something! Ive been going to this store for the past umpteen years and I still love it to this day. Its no Hmart, but the prices are reasonable and its local.

A little "hole in the wall" with a terrific variety squeezed into a modest space. The owners are very helpful and appreciative. They have a good variety of fresh herbs and vegetables and a remarkably good assortment of dried and canned items as well as fresh meats. Sometimes they have fresh baked goods and unusual Asian fruits. Ive been going regularly for many years (perhaps ten?).
