I wouldnt recommend for out-of-state buyers nevertheless a great dealership. I had been shopping for some while for a specific model/specification and found it here. Confirmed the price on the Internet and was told by their internet sales manager that they have "runners" that deliver vehicles to New York. A private sale on my old vehicle fell through and I ended up driving the 200 miles to Raynham from my NYC home to trade in my old car. Once time came to close the deal I discovered that Mass. does not issue temporary tags like many states and I would be unable to take the new car home that day (4/29). I went ahead with the deal anyway. Their finance manager had apparently taken the afternoon off and I was driven to the sister Buick dealership just down the road to conclude the paperwork; the salesman said he would be ready to pick me up in about 15 minutes. In fact, the transaction took almost two hours because the individual was unfamiliar with the other stores system. By the time I got on the road night work had started on I-95 and the excursion turned into a 14-hour day. Now I learned that they would not stand by the internet sales managers offer to deliver the car in NY state. They said that once they had registered the car in NY state their salesman might be able to meet me halfway to exchange the new car for my trade-in. I explained that I was pretty tied up with a conference and overseas travel for the next couple of weeks and would have to take delivery of the vehicle after 5/18. Once time came to pick up the vehicle, the meeting half-way offer was off the table just like the "runner" delivery so I made another 400-mile round trip. Despite the fact that they knew that I would be delayed picking it up they handed it to me with a temporary 10-day inspection sticker that had expired the day before. All-in-all a pretty frustrating experience. That being said, if I lived nearby I would shop without hesitation: -Their prices are very competitive -They honor the "ePrice" offered by email -They gave me a very fair deal on my trade-in -There is no pressure to buy any unwanted warranties or other add-ons, at least not in my case -The store is very appealing in its lay-out and the staff very friendly -The vehicle was delivered to me with a full tank of gas -They even refunded $44 that they had over-estimated for processing the NY state paperwork If youve done your homework, this is as close to a no-haggle deal as you will get.

***Warning: AVOID MASTRIA*** What seemed to be a fine experience ended sourly. They proved to be unorganized and did not take ownership of their work. Car purchased: brand new Jetta 1.8T TSI, February 16 Examples of poor service: 1) I was told I would receive my car on a Tuesday. Tuesday rolls around, I had requested time off of work ($ lost) in order to meet them to accept the car but they never showed up or communicated until I called. (Mind you I had tried calling several times prior and when getting in contact with them, they said their lines were down and excused their lack of communication). They said I would received it Wednesday. I took off yet another day to meet them. Again, no show and more money lost. Finally, heard back the end of the week and met to get my car. 2) They offered to pay for my registration when delivering my car. I told them I thought that I was supposed to pay for it but I was assured it was not my responsibility, so naturally I went with it. I get a call days later that I need to pay back the registration fee they volunteered to pay. I asked to speak to managers about the situation and nobody would transfer me. I continued to call for two weeks. No responses. Finally, I got a call telling me that they were going to add a lien to the car. Excuse me? I said that was not right and their decision to pay should not be my responsibility to pay back. The threat to put a lien on the vehicle surprised me as I had not been able to contact anybody, even after e-mailing the finance manager and leaving several voicemails. 3) When they delivered the car with a black stain on my white seats, I pointed it out before accepting the vehicle. They claimed they would do something about it (even took a picture for their records) but never followed up. Again, not owning up to their own mistakes. 4) I had a coat added to the car to prevent stains but that was clearly never applied and just charged on my loan. They even advertised that sap would not be able to stain the car-- surprise-- I have sap stain that cannot be removed from my windshield; also, rain does not bead off my car as it should. 4) Overall, their service is sketchy. They want to close the deal but they do a poor job of really caring about the customer. They have numbers to meet, which is understandable. But they are not professional to say the least. I will not return to VW Mastria for any services.

Brought my car here for a simple oil change. They either overtightened and stripped my drain plug or flat out didnt tighten it. A few miles down the road & on the highway my car ran out of oil. Oil was all over the under side of the car. They coincidentally blamed it on a failed part. To which I said there would be oil all over my engine & transmission. Not just on the oil pan & lower parts of the car. As the part they claim failed is highly pressurized. They claimed the motor is fine. Yeah OK. Ill ignore the screeching metal grinding noises I heard as my engine slowly lost all power and died by the time I realized what was going on and could pull off the highway safely. It was all of 2 or 3 minutes from the time I first smelled a little bit of oil burning to the time I started getting a strong smell of oil burning. At first I assumed it was a car driving next to me. As soon as my engine light came on I realized it was my car and pulled over when it was safe to do so without getting creamed & killed by any other cars. After a free tow & back at the shop they cleaned up the oil mess & rethreaded the oil plug. This was obvious by the shiny newly exposed metal which use to have black paint on it. They got the engine running again and said it is fine. They wouldnt even own up to their obvious mistake and make it right. Yet they so willingly paid for the tow & offered me a free rental for a few days so as to make themselves seem like nice guys. Dealers never voluntarily pay for towing & offer free car rentals on cars that are out of warranty, especially for a new customer who didnt even purchase a car through them. They obviously had some sense of guilt. I remained calm and polite throughout all of this. Here I am about 1 year later and I need a new motor. This company poorly represents the quality service Ive received at other nearby VW dealers. For a dealer that has millions of dollars in merchandise on their lots. You think they could have done the right thing and at least owned up to an honest mistake and corrected it. Perhaps by installing a used or rebuilt engine. Im guessing their cost would only be 3K to 7K. A lot of money for an individual but peanuts for a large dealer.
