This place is great friendly staff and clean well organized store, grant it most the staff was with Hannafords before big Y all employees at the store are brand new to Big Y they are still learning the Big Y culture and regulations that are far different then those from Hannaford, learning as they go to work daily same as a new customer they are all learning together the store along with 3 others were transformed from Hannaford to Big y in less then a week total of 8 stores closed and reopened as Big Y in less then 2 weeks not much training or instructions to prepare for the change over wven the store appearance is exact like Hannafords the changes in the silver savings card the gold coin, the return policy, the dress code, the way that employees must card each and every single customer that comes to purchase beer or wine regardless of age add fact of the senior citizen discount day and the massive amount of shoppers on that day they come by bus loads the fact they had been short handed . I feel they do a superb job trying to make things as smooth and efficient as possible, yes things will have bumps along the way, no people are not perfect and all but if you want a clean, organized place to shop and save money with friendly attentive staff this is the place to shop remember get your silver savings club card bring ID if going purchase wine or beer and enjoy

It is pretty much the same set up as when it use to be Hannafords. It is very clean, friendly staff, same shopping products youd find in Hammafords or Stop & Shop plus including their own Big Y brand but are actually amazingly better prices than any other grocery store. Somes prices are similar to other grocery stores but most are cheap. And you can earn reward points and receive these gold coins that saves you a percentage off products that are specifically listed each month. Plus they have sales which obviously lessen their prices which are already pretty much cheaper. It has been a life saver for us finding Big Y. My family are big fans of Big Y now. We love going there and are officially regular customers.

Good supermarket. Being a smaller local store, it does lack some amenities that larger stores in the area have, and it may not have certain brands simply due to the smaller amount of shelves. However this store doesnt get too busy during the week, and isnt as bad as other stores in the area on the weekends. The quality of the produce, deli and meats are excellent. The store customer program is good too. The pricing is very competitive if not better than other markets in Quincy.

A pretty nice layout and feel is what strikes the first. It feels slightly upmarket. The selection is somewhat limited (organic in particular). The price of Horizons products (milk/butter etc) seems to be more reasonable than others nearby. The waiting times to go through the checkout lanes is so much shorter than the Stop and Shop nearby where it takes longer to checkout than to collect the groceries in cart!

Quality of food is A plus. Small store makes it easier to grab items and go. 5 checkouts were open tonite. I would like to see a larger selection in the " meals to go" section. There are some tired looking spaghetti and marina dinners along with sides of creamed spinach and roasted winter veggies that have seen better days. A Mexican and Asian flavor would be a welcome addition!

I will be boycotting Big Y for a year, maybe 2 years, maybe forever. I have done the same with the Ocean State Job Lot for almost a year now against the adolescent games of Sorcery that their employees agree to participate in. They are promoting heinous practices that prompt actions against them. Such as Romans 1:28 from the Holy Scriptures.

Ive been here twice since it switched from Hannafords and the service is terrible. I asked at the bakery counter if they had tres leches cake and was told "yes, I dont have any out right now." Ummm, ok? So you have them but youre not willing to go in the back and get me one???? Great customer service.

Not as good as Hannafords was but they have some good deals including a senior discount on Tuesdays. For a while they were selling a 5 lb bag of organic carrots for $5, but 3 weeks ago, they changed from that to a 2 lb bag for $2.89. Ill be going elsewhere to buy carrots now.

Produce is not fresh. Meat and seafood looks old as well. Team members do not know where items are - not there fault, its a matter of bad training. Witnessed a big wet spill and two of the managers couldnt be bothered to help. The called 3 different team members to help.

Big Y Table and Vine is a (almost) one stop shop for all of your needs. They have great everyday prices and very good beer and wine prices and sales. Unfortunately, unlike some other table and vine locations, this location does not sell liquor. I hope that changes soon.

Place is awful, waited ato Deli for 20 mins, there was no line just me with 3 incompetent workers at Del. All the workers look miserable and out of it. I miss Hannaford it was such a great store comparedata to this mismanaged mess of a store called Big Y.

Let me tell you cousin. I love the Big Y. Being a western mass boy born and raised now living in Quincy. I almost cried when I saw a Big Y going up. I know the DAmour family and they do great things. I love Big Y! Best sales in Wollaston.

items are okay. Cashier Employee is rude and not listen to customer. Try to blame his fault is customer fault. They hire old peoples, they are very inpatient. I miss Hannaford used to have young employee who treat customer pleasantly.

Its no Trader Joes but definitely beats out Stop & Shop. Friendly staff, easy to find things and make sure you get a silver card to lock in savings. They always have everything that I need!

Get rid of the savings card and gold coins. Just lower your prices and dont require a card. The money spent on running the savings card and gold coin program could be used to lower prices.

Affordable price, cheapest place in the town which would compete with Market Basket and other wholesale markets. Very organized, spacious and clean.

Since taking over Hannafords, the produce quality has declined rapidly, the local products are diminished, and the lines are much longer and slower.

I wasnt thrilled this former-hannafords turned into big y but the staff are wonderful and friendly and they mostly carry whatever I need.

This store still has all the Hannaford s atmosphere, very pricey to me but others may not think so, check it out and you can decide
