Purchased a 2014 Triumph Thruxton here. My entire experience at this shop was excellent. I first met Carlo who was very friendly and helpful. He was never pushy and always excited to help me every time I came in. My interactions with him pretty much sold Riverside as the place I was going to buy from. I came back ready to purchase and was introduced to Rob T. Rob handled the transaction and the finance piece. He went above and beyond several times. I had a few unique things to add to the mix and of course I wanted to take the bike home yesterday. He put in time to work with the banks to get me a great rate. He went back and fourth a few times on my behalf. He also went above and beyond with the registration process ( out of state). Finally, I needed some gear but the shop was closing. Two guys( forgot names sorry) stayed after for an hour to help me get new gear so I could ride the bike home that day. The gear they helped me pick out is awesome. Glad I was able to talk to them as the gear I was interested in would of been a poor choice. Everyone I encountered at the shop was passionate about what they do. I think that is the number one reason why this was such a great experience.

I rarely post reviews, but after being a long time service customer, I have to in this case. They held my bike for 2 months while they tried to get a few carb parts. After a month waiting on back order, they called me and suggested I order the parts myself from Cycle 128! I got them via mail in a week no problem. No issues with "backorder" status. If Cycle 128 got them, why not them? Then of course I had to hand deliver the parts myself to Riverside. My take: no attempt to get the parts themselves from 128; little effort to help the situation with alternatives or in in timely fashion; no apology for the long wait,; no apology for the leg work I had to do. Finally: no concept of helping or retaining a long time customer. Id say service help in the spring busy season is vastly understaffed. Ill be finding another service dealer.

So my 2013 Scrambler stopped working on my way from Maine back to NY. I ride with tools so I called my dealership on Long Island to see if they could help me diagnose the problem. Not helpful. I saw that Riverside Motorsports was the closest Triumph dealer at about an hour away. Spoke to T.J. to give him a heads up that I was going to get towed in. He suggested we troubleshoot first. After about 10 minutes on the phone, they suggested vapor lock due to a flooded EVAP canister. After disconnecting a couple of tubes. the bike was growling like a Scrambler should. I was back home in time for dinner. I offered to buy T.J. and the dealership lunch, but he said he couldnt accept that for doing his job. He said the best thing I could do is "pay it forward". These guys are top notch in my book! Also, dont overfill your gas tank!

If your not a fussy buyer know what you want and dont care too much about service this is the place for you . As for me I bought a new bike there this year that was presented to me not prepped and dirty . I have had it back there to fix fix things like the horn and blinkers which should have been caught during the prep. No idea how they put a sticker on it . 6 months later I am still chasing them to fix things that should have been gone thru before they even let me take the bike. Their attitude now of coarse is one of avoidance . I am not a difficult person. The new owner and manager Carlos partnered with must have been done out of desperation. A couple of years or and Ill bet they will be out . Buyer beware.

Tom at the parts department is a professional ! I ordered a center stand for my Triumph Tiger 800XC and needed it to ship that same day (Monday) as the Tiger was to be shipped to Seattle on Friday. Tom shipped the center stand and I received it on Tuesday. When installing it on my Tiger I discovered that 2 small parts were missing. Called Tom and he was able to ship to me the 2 missing parts which I received on Wednesday. I installed them on the Tiger on Thursday and was able to ship the Tiger on time to Seattle. Real service, real people - I would highly recommend their parts department to any client, local or not. Tom - Thank you again for everything !!! Ron from Long Island NY.

I went to get my kawasaki ninja 650 looked at for starting issues. Complete incompetence and they just threw parts at it - they were ultimately unable to fix it and still charged me ~$600 - they diagnosed starter motor replacement, then did a leakdown test AFTERWARDS, which they then said theyd have to take apart the engine because there was a 90% leak for another $300. Finally took it to someone competent instead and all it was was a faulty torque limiter gear - which I replaced for $65 and now it runs like perfect. Ultimately, the fact that the shop manager covered for the mechanics total lack of ability shows you how horrible their service is, at least on Kawasaki motorcycles.

Just bought a motorcycle from this dealership and Keith is a really good person who knows his stuff. He guided me and was very helpful. Super friendly and they are always ready to help. UPDATE: Keith is super helpful after the sale is complete.. after about 2 weeks of owning my motorcycle I had a minor accident which involved the motorcycle falling down when I was trying to reverse it in a tight space. And broke the mirror... Keith was so helpful as he took the additional time to look they his stock to see if he had a spare.. so that I could buy it..they had the 2016 diavel carbon mirrors which were better than the mirrors I had..and look so good on the Diavel..

Bought a bike from these guys - had a few financial questions, made 4 calls that all went unreturned. Finally called back the day before the bike was ready, answered after the 3rd try. After telling the associate about my displeasure and how I wanted to cancel the transaction, he finally answered the questions I had. He then promised a "gift pack" as an apology for a weeks worth of unreturned calls. Next day, guy was nowhere to be found, along with no gift pack as promised. Called back and spoke to a manager, and he seemed unconcerned himself. Spoke highly of the reviews of other people, but this did not help my case. Disappointed with my experience.

Riverside Motorsports service area can be really busy sometimes, but once youre on their schedule --- BAM! I dropped my motorcycle off a couple days early, and it was done the next day anyhow. With fresh tires and some suspension work, I couldnt be happier - tires, brakes, and general feel are all amazing. They initially suggested a particular tire, but changed their recommendation after a short discussion about my riding style. Like I said, Im more than pleased. Its also a great place to check out the newest offerings by some great brands, and get anything from a large selection of parts, tools, and all sorts of gear.
