I have heard numerous people say that the customer service here is terrible, I never took them seriously. Recently my motorcycle became in need of some carb-work and the closes cycle shop was North Reading Motorsports. They never called to tell me anything, three weeks went by still no call. When I call there response was always "ummm its up on the lift." So finally I decided to call again and to my suprise they were actually putting it back together only they went ahead and ordered $300.00 worth of parts without letting know. So i figured prehaps since its taking them so long they will cut me some slack on the labor, not-so. Total bill for cab-work was $700.00. compared to $300.00 Ive had same thing done to a another bike in the past. Doesnt end there when i came by it took 1/2hr to get anybody to come to the desk. They would walk by me and not offer to help. Dont believe me? Stop by, they will have you saying "Does anybody work here?"

I brought my scooter there 6 MONTHS AGO. They had it for a month before they even started to look at it. I called countless times and they kept telling me they had their best guy working on it and it just wasnt running right. They said they cleaned the carburetor a few times and it would run okay sometimes and then other times it wouldnt. So, I paid them 210 dollars for the labor, even though it wasnt fixed. Then i had them deliver it to my friend three days ago. He had me order a carburetor, jets, and electronic choke, installed it, and got it running with THREE DAYS! He told me that NR Motorsports didnt put the bike back together completely. These guys suck, they just were too lazy to do their job and instead wanted to convince me to buy a brand NEW scooter off of them. I recommend Parkway Cycles...or someone you know!

I needed proof that the muffler on my motorcycle was stock, and unaltered. Since I had done my previous motorcycle state inspection with North Reading Motorsports, I took it to them just to see what they had to say. Frederick (I believe he is the owner) took a look at the muffler and wrote up a letter stating that it was indeed stock. That was nice of him since I hadnt even asked for a letter. I appreciate him going out of his way in providing such a letter. Compare this with Greater Boston Motorsports at Arlington from whom I had purchased my motorcycle. Since I had bought the motorcycle from them, I asked them for a letter stating that the muffler was stock when they sold it to me. They said they didnt want to take any liability and redirected me to the motorcycle manufacturer! Nice after sales customer service!

I went in asking about an inspection and new tires. Guy told me better off doing at the same time, so I order and made a deposit on the tires. 1 month later and multiple phone call, of back order and no stock and etc excuses, It finally came in. I was told it will take only a day to do the service and I can pick it up next day. 4 days later, bike hasnt been looked at yet. Finally when it was done, my bike wont start, most likely due to the fact that they had the key on on position and left it there for so many day. I would not return here.

North Reading Motorsports has had my business since 1984. Freddy is extremely knowledgable on all things with wheels and will help anyone with any questions. John the parts manager is great, always gives me a heads up on parts, gear and great prices. Johnny has built all my MX Race bikes and preps them all for me. He is meticulous, technical and very skilled with the wrenches. I would highly recommend North Reading Motorsports for any and all of your Motorsports needs.

Tried to order a few parts for a 1993 Kawasaki EX500. Gave them the parts numbers, card number, no big deal. "Should be in by, oh, say Monday or Tuesday at the latest! Sure, well call you when they come in!" Fast forward to two weeks and 5 phone calls later. Parts arent in, parts guys dont know when they will be in, parts manager indifferent. I have them cancel the order and refund my card. Not so much as an apology. Steer clear of this place!

Tried to schedule motorcycle oil change with some Boston area shop. They were to schedule me three weeks later and charge a hefty fee for their full package, including putting air in the tires and various other nonsense even I can do. Come North Reading Motorsports: scheduled me to the next day, very reasonable charges, professional work and the nicest people ever. Highly recommended.

IM VERY PLEASED WITH THE WORK DONE ON MY BIKE, A YOUNG MAN NAMED JOHN DID THE WORK,HE SEEMED VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE , AND SEEMS TO TAKE PRIDE IN HIS WORK WICH I WAS IMPRESSED WITH. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMEND GOING HERE TO ANYONE. THEY ALSO COMMUNICATED WELL WITH ME ON THE COST AND THE TIME WHEN MY BIKE WOULD BE READY, AND THEY WASHED MY BIKE TOO. LIKE I SAID BEFORE, IM VERY PLEASED.

Called them on a friday afternoon to get a flat tube replaced. The mechanic told me he could have it done Saturday morning but upon hearing that I had a ride planned and was going to do it myself, he was concerned that I would scratch up my rim so he replaced it for me that night. This is definitely the kind of shop I want my bikes serviced at.

I just purchased my first moped from the guys here at this location. Everyone was friendly, they never pressured me to buy and after I did decide to purchase a 2007 Honda Metro, they even found a way to get it delivered to my home!

I wanted lights and lots of them on my Goldwing. Guy told me it would look cheesy. Plus, Goldie came back dirtier than she was when I dropped her off. The other work performed was class A. Brakes etc.

Ive bought three motorcycles: 2 hondas and 1 kawasaki. Ive had them serviced, inspected here too. Always good, reliable service and good prices. Highly recommend them.

Bad customer service. The sign says they close at 6:00 but the store was closed at 5:30 when I got there to pick up my parts. Not cool.
