観光のついでに寄りました。品揃えはトロント、ニューヨークにある日本スーパーより足りない。そして高い。ただDVDは豊富です。 サービスもいまいちです。お昼に行きましたが全てのレジが壊れてしばらく待つことに。次の予定もあったのでイライラしてきた頃、もう一つのレジが直ったらしいのですが、新しく来たお客さんを優先させていました。 すぐ横に居た僕らには知らされず、後回しにされました。些細な事なのですがそのちょっとした気遣いが出来ないお店です。 日本人経営者のお店を応援したかったのですが、こんな事なら韓国スーパーにでも行けばよかったと後悔しています。

Good selection of Japanese goods: candies, spices, sauces, dry ramen, rice, sushi grade fish, and mochi ice cream. I miss Kotobukiya a lot; I used to go there all the time. Ebisuya is, from what I can tell, where Kotobukiya went (the selection, people working there, and even the shelving seem to be the same). To be honest though, now that theyve reopened, I dont ever go. They even have parking, and are close to many good restaurants (Wondertaste, Chili Garden). I think being close to the red line was a big factor in why I went to Kotobukiya. If you live close to Ebisuya, give them a try! But, if you dont live close and have a different means of getting Japanese ingredients, Im not sure it will be worth the trip.

Best selection for Japanese fruits and vegetables that are difficult to find elsewhere such as yuzu, sudachi, mitsuba, shimeji mushrooms, etc. Besides food, Ebisuya also has japanese appliances (water boilers, rice cookers), ceramic dishes, and even Japanese pencil lead. One of my favorite things they carry is Ogawa coffee beans from the Japanese coffeehouse in the Financial District. I tend to drop by Ebisuya every couple of weeks to refill necessities and get some treats for myself. The only downside is that Ebisuya doesnt have a designated parking lot, but there is city parking right behind the store that charges 25 cents per 15 minutes. Definitely check it out if you need Japanese ingredients!

This has to be the best place I ever been to buy food. At first I thought it would be smaller but once I was inside; I was wrong. The place is much more wider than expected from outside. It isnt really a super market to many, however it was more than super for me with many things I couldnt find till this first visit. The staff are all so friendly and helpful. I needed some ramen noodles that day I visit and they provided me with their freshly made ramen noodles. I was also lucky because I had their miso ramen and some riceball for lunch. I was also told that they sold ramen only Sunday. I just highly recommend this place, just stop reading this and visit it for your own personal experience and needs.

I almost dont want to write a review because this is such a hidden gem that i dont want the word to get out. Sushi here is authentic and affordable. Like more affordable than super market sushi. Its made to order. I only gave it four stars because the guy making the sushi wasnt too pleased when i asked to order sushi. It was about 10 minutes before they closed the sushi counter so i understood his frustrations. Dont be afraid to go in, fill out the sushi slip for what you want and hand it to the cook.

I recommend this shop for Japanese home goods and small conveniences. I got my wet stone for knife sharpening from this place. The store is small, but very clean and well organized. They pack a lot in! If you dont see something youre looking for, all, the staff are very accommodating. Great place to find a broad selection of miso, umeboshi, ingredients for Oden. My only complaint is that they are so far from my neighborhood!

Excellent! We stopped by there last week to see what the store had to offer. It reminded me a lot of Uwajimaya except it was ALL Japanese food, stationary and things I havent seen in many years. A great selection for authentic Japanese food including natto, kamaboko and many others. The sushi (has seating area) was pretty fresh. I wouldnt say they are the best but it was very good and being fresh made it all better.

I love this place, although I always end up spending too much money, and parking can be a problem. Very clean and well run. I go here mainly to buy. Japanese tea, and frozen Japanese food like natto, although I usually cant resist a little sushi. My daughter likes the candy and exotic soft drinks. There is a limited offering of Japanese housewares: tea pots, kbives, rice cookers and so forth.

This is a fairly small Japanese grocery store. It has mostly dry goods like rice and packaged food and candy, as well as some refrigerated and frozen food. They also have some household goods (kitchenware, bath salts, etc) and beauty goods. The fresh produce is limited. They also sell some prepared foods, like sandwiches and onigiri, you can order sushi.

Cute little Japanese market, you can get so much cool stuff here! They serve fresh sushi (and sell all the ingredients you would need to make it), sell all sorts of Japanese snacks, desserts, ramen (the good stuff), and even bento boxes and chopsticks!

Assorted Japanese groceries and features authentic ramen on Sundays. The staff are helpful and friendly. Very clean and free parking streetside on weekends. Easy to find; Ebisuya is right off of Route 93.
