The Essex Market is the corner store you hope for in your daily life. It has the usual mix of American/Spanish groceries and beverages, and fresh fruits and vegetables. Whats unusual is their Breakfast/Lunch Counter with a wonderful mix of American Sandwiches, fried food, and Spanish side dishes. The Martinez Family, the owners, are always friendly and helpful. They accept cash, credit cards, EBT, and WIC. Oh, they have an ATM, too.

Awesome owners and staff. Very pleasant. Small latino market but jam packed with food, produce and some take out. Very friendly people. Very busy store. My family is not spanish but we often shop at this store for convenience foods. My husband always comments on the friendliness and personality of the owner.
