This is a great downtown Portuguese market, right in the heart of Fall River. Their food is fresh, they make their own chouriço and linguica, and the service is attentive and friendly. The butchers and seafood staff are knowledgeable and helpful - and are prepared to share their expertise. The selection of cheeses are impressive as well. They sell a lot of Portuguese specialties but also stock the staple goods every good market should have. We never pass by Chaves when we go to Fall River.
