I have came to this Walmart while visiting family a few times now. Pros: The Grocery department was well organized and stocked the times I was there. Im able to get everything needed right here in one stop. Men and Boys Department has much more to offer then the Walmarts where I live. The shoe department was very nice and good prices. I was surprised on what they offer for my son who is 4.5-years-old. They had a lot of different styles and sizes. The apparel department was the same way. They had a lot to offer at good affordable prices. Cons: On the other hand the Home and Electronic Department is a mess. With The General Home Items and everyday things you cannot find anything. You can be in the correct spot and staring right at the merchandise but it does not add up. Everything is out of order and none of it matches the tags on the shelves. Electronic Department just doesnt care. I went to try and purchase a tablet and a netbook. I found the ones I wanted but had a few questions before purchasing them. There were two employees in the next last just having a conversation. When I went up to them I of course said excuse me to get there attention and ask for help. Both male employees walked right past me to the end and continued there conversation. I then went up to the counter to ask another male employe for help. He didnt look me in the eye and told me he wasnt sure to all my questions. He then told me I would be better off going in Amazon and just searching there. This Walmart needs to do a lot of hiring to get rid of the ones that dont care. It can use a lot of cleaning and organizations. After closing they should also consider a parking lot clean up I mean hey it will be worth it for them to get a street sweeper for that place.

To all customers with food stamps. If you card is worn out and will not go through. Dont fall for the simple excuse that employ cashiers are giving to customer of i cant enter the card manually. This is stress test on customers. Cashier Employee stated that "its under walmart policy that they cane not enter the EBT card manually. " This is fails. On snap manual for POS once u enter the card number IT DOES NOT ASK U FOR Expiration date. BECAUSE IT DOES NOT HAVE ONE. Snap protection layers are also 1)- if you dont have fund it wont go through. 2)- if the card has been canceled it wont go through or it will state on receipt that card has been declined. TO Walmart employee MANAGERS!!!!- please have a meeting about this. This extremely embracing 4 WALMART when employee is coming up with excuses of why she can not enter the card manually because of state policy and she has to wait for corp to give her a go ahead even though she could just said I DONT KNOW HOW TO ENTER IT.

Horrible experience, were getting a Christmas tree and some furniture and their staff were very unhelpful. I had to go all the way to electronics to get help with the furniture. Having 3 employees standing behind the desk (2 males & 1 female) with no other customers they called for someone else. We waited for someone to come help and they sent a poor young lady whom couldnt lift the furniture. She had to get help from the guys from electronics whom werent much help. The very large bald male wearing a yellow vest who wasnt much help made her lift the bookcase by herself even after she complained that she hurt her back, all while another third employee (young male) stood there and watched her. After the young lady got it on the cart the bald guy made me the customer push it all the way to the checkout(very heavy) We waited again for someone to help us put it in our car.

This particular store is becoming more and more like a circus gone bad. I waited almost 2 hours at the customer service counter only to be met with a piss poor attitude. I was annoyed and could feel my IQ dropping so I didnt bother shopping. Plus they had 1 lane with a clerk open and a gigantic line at the self checkout corral with about half the lights blinking. I feel so bad for the people that work there. Even the ones with bad attitudes. Lol. I saw customers giving them a hard time and its just sad. I mean its not their fault the companys cheap. But noooooo. This walmart is bad and I wouldnt recommend it. Not the worst in the country. Youll be "safe" there, but you can do a lot better by driving a little and going to North Dartmouth or Swansea. Or better yet, skip Walmart altogether and head to Target.

At 9:30 pm on a Friday they have self check out closed and only three cashiers on the weekend before 4th pf July, Obviously the store is going to be super busy. The lines to cash out were very long and moving super slow. I unfortunately did not have a half hour or more to spare, I had to leave my carriage fully of items behind and exit the store. Why 3 cashier on a busy night? The poor management and lack of caring is disappointing from such a well known successful establishment. This store is a joke good luck cashing out.I will not return. Its unfortunate because I spend alot of money at Wal-mart on a regular basis. Get it together Wal-Mart. It seems to be a terrible experience often at this particular location. Good luck Cashing out here unless you have 30+ minutes to spare.

As far as Walmarts go this one tries to be an improvement but they have more to do to get there. The womens underwear and apparel departments are always messy and its not the customers its the laziness of the staff. The grocery departments do much better and are usually well stock although uncharacteristically overpriced. Im glad Martin no longer manages the store, Stacy runs a tighter ship. He ran the old store when it was in Harbor Mall and it was a dusty, nasty bedbug filled mess filled with assholes on duty. I can actually enjoy shopping here now. This place needs badly to get with the times and become a 24 hour location but first focus on the few remaining internal issues with the lazy staff, store layout, and uncleanliness.

Their prices are not bad except for their meat thats like going to stop and shop so you might as well just go there some of the things you can find a lot cheaper and some just as expensive as other stores I gave it a full because its got everything you need in it but other than that when I went there today I had a lady asked another lady to show me where the pull-ups were she brought me to diapers so I had to look around the area to find the pull-ups myself thats how good this Walmart in fall river is find it yourself and at least I have the prices for the toilet paper they are you dont got to go find one of those scan machines like you used to go check my receipt make sure I got charged for it said for the toilet paper

I love Walmart but I dont particularly like this Walmart. Actually, no I dont like this store at all but I do shop there if that is my only option. I had no problems when it was in the Harbor Mall but I just cant seem to enjoy it here. Im over 40 and brought my daughter with me a few times 11-12 yrs old at the time and I had other kids wanting to beat her up and Ive been approached outside the store by a roudy customer because I was loading my bags in the front area becasue of terential rain. Its a rough crowd in that store and Ive never brought my kid again. BUT last couple of times Ive goneit was looking better. Still a little messy but better. Thats a good thing!
