I recently bought a 90s Trek 1400 and took it to Vic to get it checked out. He suggested a performance tune up because although the bike was in good condition, it looked like it hadnt been used in years. In addition to the tune up, he replaced my seat, tires, handle bar stem and bar tape at no additional cost (the replacements were included in the cost of the tune up). He sells all parts at cost, unlike most area bike shops which sell parts at a premium. He is definitely more cost effective than the local shops. Vic did a great job with the tune up and got my bike riding smoothly and looking great, even did a proper fitting. He is very knowledgeable about bikes and took the time to explain everything that he intended to do to repair my bike. I will be taking all of my bikes to Vic in the future!

So I have this 1995 Trek 7000SHX mtn. bike that had a busted rear shift lever and I gave up trying to fix it and finding a replacement shifter. Had not ridden it in like 3 years. Contacted Vic/Evo Cycle Works and he said "bring it over, Ill get it fixed for you" and he did just that. He found a NOS replacement shifter, installed it, replaced cables, gave it adjustments and general cleaning. Lo and behold, my ("ancient") mtn. bike rides like it did the day I bought it! Thanks Vic and Evo Cycle Works.

It was a pleasant experience discussing with Vic the bike that best suit my need for riding on C&O Canal as well as organized events. He measured me and offered me a road bike that is close to my ideal size for a test ride. I decided to get a cyclocross with top brake levers. I had my 1979 Miyata sitting in the garage collecting dust. i had always loved the bike and decided that the best option for me was to get it restored. Vic helped guide me (more like held my hand).
