This bike shop is terrible. I wish I was able to give them 0 stars. The owner of the store is more interested in talking about himself than answering questions and selling bikes. I left messages with multiple people and never had my calls returned. When I went into the shop, I had to listen to the drama between the owner and one of the workers. I ended up working directly with Bike Friday to design a bike, and they encouraged me to purchase the bike from the shop, to build a relationship. Against my better judgement I decided to do this. When Bike Friday called to let the shop know that I would be coming in to purchase the bike, the guy at the shop told him that I shouldnt bother because he was too busy to help me. Yes, you read that right, the shop was too busy to accept my $1700. If you are looking for another shop in the area, try Proteus. If you are looking for Bike Friday bikes, just order directly. They both have great customer service!

I have been to this shop a few times, but never again. The first time I went in to buy sealant for a tire which they said they had at the other shop. I left my phone number for them to call me when it came in. I never got a call. The second time I went in was for warranty issues as they were the closest Trek dealer to me. I brought a 9 month old wheel to them with several cracks near the nipples. Two days later, after not hearing back from them, I called to ask about the status and they gave me every reason in the book why Trek wasnt going to warranty it except for "Trek said they wont warranty it." I took the same wheel to The Bicycle Place and it got warrantied, with ZERO issues and the new wheel was in within the week. Unless you are buying something from these guys they dont really care it seems. Do yourself a favor and head a little further down Route 1 to Arrow Bicycle.

Awesome, personalized service, super friendly staff and rapid sales follow up. And thats not including their outstanding inventory of quality bikes! I went to three different bike vendors in the area looking for a good quality hybrid. I was about to go to a out of state vendor based on a friends recommendation. Thats was before I discovered College Park Bikes. The staff was very friendly, knowledgeable, and let me try out several different models before I settled on a Trek. I returned some weeks later for a tune up and questions about local bike paths and they were very helpful. Would I go back again? Thats a foregone conclusion. I plan to get another bike from them again soon. They deserve ten stars.

I bought a Dahon folding bike there in 2007, and have taken it back annually for a free tune-up, which has usually been done on the spot within 20 minutes or so. A few years ago I was doored by a car, the bike was hard-hit, and I took it to them for inspection. After a day they told me the fork was bent, they could not adjust it because it was a safety matter. I confirmed this on my next visit - it was quite true - and they got me a new fork for a reasonable charge and quickly. All professional service here, no shortcuts. I am well pleased with their record of customer service.

Not great. Thought the tune-up was just ok and they werent overly friendly. I went back because I wasnt satisfied with how they did the brakes. At first they tried to convince me it was dirt on the roads, but he did end up adjusting them for no extra charge. They also called saying my bike was ready, but when I arrived they said it would take another few days. In the end, they didnt even need the bike for the additional time! No apologies either.

Poor service, arrogant behavior and a complete rip-off! Please avoid... If you ever have to go, first ask them an estimate of expenses. I made the mistake of not asking them and they handed me a bill of $115, charging $85 for a tune-up which they charged $35 the last year! The old bike does not even cost $200 now (according to them)! If so, why would anyone spend $115 on a $200 bike? I will never go there again or recommend anyone to do so either.

They were busy and I had to wait... it was Saturday afternoon, after all. But I went there looking for an obscure part (axle nuts for a 10mm solid axle, larger than normal) and after digging around in three drawers filled with miscellaneous nuts, voila, there they were, and only $1 a pop. I like old shops that have all the weird parts you could ever need.

DONT waste your time. Guy who fix bikes there is a fraud and a liar. I asked him just to adjust my brakes, and he told me 85$ and he need two weeks for that. I went to another repair place and offcourse they told me 20$ and they need 15min. So I am telling you please dont WASTE your time. You will only lose your money. Go somwere else.

I went there to buy a pressure valve adapter. Then I asked the guy at front desk about installing it. Then he said you tube is punctured. Then I bought a new tube and payed for labor. Then he said you former tube is not punctured(I already knew). Then they refunded me and asked me to buy a new piece. Now my bike is punctured.

I tried selling an infrequently used bike I won at a charity bike ride there and was told that supposedly the dust build up suggested I was a BIKE THIEF. I offered to let him photo my ID and instead of reconsideration he mentioned calling the police. I would rate it 0 stars if possible

Went in and got the Complete Overhaul done on my bike. I did, however, notice a small problem after only riding it twice. But I took it back and they fixed it on the spot. Graham and the rest of the staff are awesome. Thanks! -Gino

They charged me and did maintenence on my bike that I didnt ask for. Got my brakes "tuned up" there twice and they failed within a week. Then they said that my brake pads "obviously" needed to be replaced. Nice job guys
