Overall, I was quite disappointed with the services performed on my bike. Someone had stolen and wrecked my Treck 2120, causing damage to the handlebars and seat. When I took the bike in, the manager estimated $70 dollars in repairs--$40 for new handlebars, $20 for a seat, and $10 in labor. However, when I picked the bike up, the ticket stated $105--$40 for handlebars, $20 for a seat, $20 for new tape, and $25 in labor. Considering that I had asked to keep the repair costs to a minimum (Im a college student), using more expensive tape and more than doubling the labor would have gone over smoother if they had simply made phone call to inform me. Furthermore, they failed to re-affix my speedometer to my fork, which was a simple request I made when dropping off the bike. It took only a few seconds when I asked again upon pickup, but getting it done without a reminder would have conveyed a greater degree of professionalism, in my opinion. The service they performed (minus the speedometer) and the turnaround time were very good, but I feel that the store lacked communication between management and the actual laborers. If youre looking for quality work at a fast rate, this is the place for you. The worker who performed the service for my bike was even very nice in the recovery process when I picked it up. However, dont expect too much in terms of communication. After listing my grievances with the manager, he chalked my concerns up to a lack of business experience and inadequate appreciation for the turnaround time.

Just moved to Gettysburg area and was asking some folks where to take my trusted Lemond road bike. A few folks mentioned this shop, so I took my ride there today for a tune up, wheel true, drive train adjustment and some new bar tape. The work was great, but the pleasant surprise was how nice the owner was and that he called me 2 hours later to say my bike was done. I have never had such quick service from a bike shop. I will be going here as often as I can with my cycling needs. Thanks for the great work and pleasant experience, guys!

Jes and Kent of Gettysburg Cycle are nothing shy of absolute professionals. These guys treat you like family as soon as you walk in the door. They will gladly help you choose the right bike, help you with fitment and give you a great price out the door! Their expertise doesn’t end with the sales experience. Jes and Kent are well equipped to service your ride down the road as well! Take a look, even if you are from a distance away. This shop is well worth the drive!

I have been there a few times for service and they go the extra mile to help with everything. The labor prices cant be beat by other local shops! I just purchased a set of mavic XL 29 inch wheels and the price with install was great and the wheels better than than I thought could be. I need winter work on 2 bikes that will be going there. Keep doing what you guys are doing and I will come back and by word of mouth direct people to you. Thanks

I have dealt with Gettysburg Bicycle and Fitness for over 20 years. I bought many bikes for my children from them. I have had bikes repaired there more than once. I have always found that they are pleasant to deal with, they do good work and they are quick at what they do. I have rarely had any reason to complain about their service or their prices.

Decant place. The owner is great but staff can be rude often times. More customer service training is needed in this store.
