Was in this store today for the very first time and I was impressed. First of all the store is huge and very clean. The selection is very good. Everybody is very polite. Some are friendly and polite and a few are less friendly and polite. This store stays crowded and those who are regulars and know the lay out have a much easier time navigating the store. Everything is very fresh. We got seafood,ground meat,fruit, chicken and vegetables. Everything was appealing to the eye and nose. They have plenty of cashiers so once we got in line no long waits to get rung up. I want to particularly express my gratitude to my cashier today Jahanna who was very friendly helpful and professional. This Wegmans appears to have gone the extra mile to hire quality people. I was also pleasantly surprised at the affordability of what we purchased. It was somewhat more than Walmart about the same as Giant probably less than Safeway. We ended the trip at the Hot Bar and took some hot to go food home. The employees in this part of the store are super fast and very friendly. On a scale of 1 to 10 I would give the hot bar food a 7 plus. Some of the dishes were very good and a few were mediocre. Nice selection of items though. All in all a good trip and value. I will be going back again!!!

These Guys actually care about their Food!! They are legit!!! Ive never seen any store in my life pay this much attention to maintaining the Condition of their food. Which BTW you have treated and organic products side X side to compare. Everything is well separated to see each and every product available. This store even have the container in which the fruits and veggies came from so theres no mystery whos the farmer and where it is from. Foodies and restaurateurs you will find some of rarest and most exotic ingredients in a seemingly ordinary store that has extraordinary presentation and staff. Im talking cheeses from almost every corner of the world, and even TRUFFLES...... YES that mushrooms that only certain pigs can sniff out. Yeah they actually have it. One thing better if you cant find what you want. The Staff can tell you the approximate week it gets on the shelf. Bar None the best Grocery store Ive every been graced with in my life. I thoughts nothing could top the commissary of certain military Installations. Yet this blows it out the water, with excellent staff that actually helps maintain the food!

Waited for this store to open for 2 years and literally felt like a kid going to FOA Schwarz for the first time. My initial reaction was positive, because I really wanted to like the place, but now that Ive gone there a few times, I have to say that the Hunt Valley Wegmans is still my favorite and then the Columbia one. The store is not buzzing with the positive and engaged employees you see in the other Wegmans stores,. Their Customer Service is a 3-Star at best, although there are a few shining stars (like the lady at the sandwich area and one of the cashiers, I think her name is Kenya). The rest of the folks Ive dealt with have either been flippant and unengaged or neutral, at best. I hope they improve overall, or else Im afraid they wont be as successful as their other locations; until then Ill be shopping in Hunt Valley.

We go to Wegmans at Owings Mills frequently and they have proven again to be the leader in the retail grocery experience arena. We noticed that after several months they had stopped carrying a corn flour type, it was no longer on their shelves. We brought it to their attention and the Manager on-duty took note and later Dan from customer service department follow up with a series of calls to advise us of the arrival of the product at the store and when was estimated to be available back on the shelf. AWESOME SERVICE..! Exceeds any expectation..! There was no need for a second call to their attention, they are so, so reliable and they LISTEN to their customers. This is a small thing that goes far beyond any expectation. Is a true WOW experience..!!

Either Wegmans has gone downhill or they have a new super-corporate style. This is now a cavernous and relatively soulless store with very little of the careful, homey feel that marks the older upstate NY stores. The prepared foods section of the store is also markedly less attractive than I remember from the older stores - the food looks okay and Im sure its edible, but expensive and nothing I would particularly want to have for dinner. They do have some good brands that can be difficult to find at other grocery stores (e.g. Scharffen Berger chocolate), so I still go here for that stuff. But otherwise this is just turning into another Whole Foods.

I am very disappointed by the service. I purchased a birthday cake that was to have an cartoon image on it for my sister. I ordered it 3 days prior despite the fact that I only needed to give 24 hours notice according to policy. I went to pick up the cake and was told by the bakery that the cake was made but the image was not put on. Needless to say that I was hurt that could not provide a memorable experience for my sister on her birthday. I gave Wegmans a chance but will never order anything from there again. To say the least I am not confident in their service.

Overall I like the store. I especially like the MarketPlace. But there are so many regular food items that they dont carry. It was explained to me that it carried less brands because it was a smaller store. Smaller than what? I can find everything I need next door at the Giant - which is two times smaller than Wegmans. I think its because they want to overstock the shelves with the Wegmans brand items. Since I dont want to have to go to two places to grocery shop, Ill probably shop more often at the Giant and just visit Wegmans when I want something special.

The employees at this store are wonderful. I was shopping for a good ground beef blend for burgers and was assisted by the butcher shop manager Eric. He was awesome. He helped me put together 3 blends of beef, ground it perfectly and the blend he recommended made the best gourmet burgers Ive ever tasted.. Best service Ive ever had in any grocery store or butcher shop. His friendly manner and knowledge was something you typically dont see in any grocery store and I will back. Hes gonna be my go to guy for anything with meats. Kudos to you Eric!!!

I love Wegmans overall, but the reason for 4 stars is because of how they dont care enough about people who have Celiac Disease or allergens. They should have a seperate area where they make fresh food free of allergens, and dont cross contaminate so we all can eat something in the fresh food market as well. At least they have signs that warn us about it or its written under the ingredients when packaged. They make enough money to be able to have a seperate area. I was hoping at least this place when they opened would, but of course not.

Tayy The Man

This is one of my favorite grocery store now that there is one here in Owings Mills. Wegmans is like an event! Amazing experience where you can get fresh produce, bakery, and organic food. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Im surprise that this location doesnt have an upstairs compare to the one in Hunt Valley but still a great place to sit, relax, and eat especially grabbing food at the Market Cafe. Havent tried The Burger Bar and the other eateries around it but its worth a try. Definitely no long waits for checkout.
