Very good quality produce. Usually find what I need. Meat products especially beef are outstanding. Tons of samples to try like Costco. The seafoods are ok, selections not as elaborate but got fishes and some shellfishes. Usually able to navigate thru the whole place without too much trouble. Included in one of my photos are some Korean Ramens they offer, they have quite a lot of them. Their food court has some delicious Korean home cookings which is something you may not find elsewhere. Its a small corner with some bar stool, not good for bringing kids to eat there, but thats what they have. The only downsize is the increasing price. Since I am a regular, I notice my grocery bills are higher than before. But I guess thats harder to control and for the quality they offer thats something to live with. Do sign up to get coupon books, some specials are pretty cheap when they come around. I recommend this grocery store overall.

Most of the items seem ok. The condition of some of the veggies are not consumable. Specifically, on April 9th 2012, there were several veggie items that were rotten and were in plain sight. Did not purchase. The Korean Beef ribs( Kal Bi) was packaged nicely, Checked the the date, was fine so purchased two packages. Went home opened them for marination and only the top layer had a nice cover of meat the lower hidden sections, were BONE and FAT. Do not purchase from here. Kal Bi is best at Korean Corner Meat section at Veirs Mill and Randolph where you can see what is sold. Just my Experiece, if any others have been duped, chime in please.

Beware that this store frequently advertises one price online and charges a different price in store. Of course the difference is to your disadvantage. This practice is mainly seen on weekend specials. It is called fraud. Since the difference is relatively small - just a few dollars - people do not have the time to go back and argue with the store employees. So this fraudulent practice became their way to conduct business. Also, they frequently advertise items on sale but they are not available in store. Its just their way to lure you in. It doesnt cost them anything since they dont give rain checks.

Lots of interesting Asian food, some latino food... Amazing selection of fruits and vegetables and Amazing fish selection. If you walk in and go to the left and to the back of the store youll see huge live fish swimming in a tank, lobster, squid, bonita, tuna, salmon, massive tiger shrimp, almost any seafood you can think of. If youre going to stock up on asian grocery its a great place to go as well. In the fruits they have dragonfruit, leechee, aloe, and many others. Sometimes I bring friends of family to check out just how cool this grocery store is.

There is a bewildering array of vegetables here that are fresh. Being a south Indian, I love that this place often has great Indian eggplant, Okhra, raw bananas, calabasa, flower of plantain and tindora. Definitely a little better choice than Korean corner on Veir Millls road. Great parking, reasonable prices. I have never had to stand in lines as some have had to. Efficient, polite staff who bag your groceries for you. Only minus point is the stench of meat and fish which I loathe as a vegetarian, for which I had to subtract a star.

This is my place its chinese runned and most of the produce is international exotic fruits thats why i shop there any produce you think of they have it on the other hand they dont have certain brands of items that local americans use in terms certain air fresheners they. Dont sell high end bath soaps and if you shop there alot it takes a while to find stuff ur looking for the meat department crazy variety if want to try something new if you know what i mean and watch out for the bakery section its expensive trust me

This grocer is clean, plenty of produce (fruit & veggies) very hard to find foods, epically fresh fish... Cleaned on the spot. Its a great place to explore new foods around the Orient. Ya, there are much but bigger similar Korean Markets, but you really need time for them. H Mart, concentrates on fresh & frozen foods. Try a duck or Blue Crabs at $3.99 Lb. (At about 2 a pound) which is very reasonably priced. By females. Last if the Persimmons by the he case at $7.99 or sweet smelling strawberries for .99¢ a pint.

A very nice Asian grocery store with good selection, a nice fresh fish department, and a very nice produce section (though I was surprised they did not have non-frozen wonton wrappers--perhaps it shows my Chinese grocery store bias?). They also have an in-house bakery as well as a Korean hot food shop for decent prices. Everything I and my friends have ever ordered has been delicious, but nothing spectacular. For example, please dont expect Bon Chon quality double-fried chicken. Theyre good, but not Bon Chon good.

Ive gone to this store for years, and the price and quality have declined tremendously. Most times, when a produce is advertised for sale, its either not available or going really, really bad. While the market can definitely beat major American supermarket chains like Giant, Safeway, SFW, when it comes to fresh produce, meat and Asian ingredients, its no longer competitive with other Asian markets at all. They get an extra star for customer service however. One of the best I have seen from any store.

Great selection of African, Caribbean and Asian groceries. Be careful with the american groceries though since expired labels can sometimes be missing. Its where I go to find salt fish, bananas, yam, Japanese pickles, brown rice tea and other staples. Be mindful of the food they pack there, Ive found metal in a seaweed salad I bought there and wont do that again.

The selection of produce is excellent. Today, one of the workers showed excellent customer service by allowing me to hand pick corn in the back of the store. The woman behind the customer service desk has been rude in the past - I dont think she knows what customer service means. Overall, though, the prices are good for produce and other Asian products.

Perfect selection of asian groceries as well as pots, pans, bowls and small appliances. There is a fresh fish counter and a full Produce section too. Stop by the bakery to look at the beautiful cakes and pastries. The prices are fair and they have a lot of sales. There is a small prepared foods section. All kinds of noodles and I mean all kinds!

my number one choice for food at a great price. very cheap, awesome specials, great variety. specializes in asian and hispanic food but has phenominal produce. cute asian bakery and restaurant I havent tried but they look good. my one critique is that i have once gotten bad fish. just double check it before you leave and smell it.
