The worst dealership Ive ever been to! First of all the sales person was not willing to show me the vehicles available, she gave me a list of vehicles and showed me pictures online instead ( its cold outside ). After I decided what vehicle I want to lease with out seeing the it, she was not able to give a receipt for my initial deposit, the excuse was that they had a new manager. On Thursday I was told too purchase insurance the same day and effective as of the next day, so I can pick up my car on Saturday. I got the insurance and emailed the insurance card to my sales person the same day, and asked if thats all she needed. Never heard back so I called my sales rep, and she told that she need the declaration page. I emailed her the declaration page right away and again asked if thats the document needed, NO RESPONSE again. Called again and and she told be that she was not able to open the file because it was in PDF format. So I faxed it and assumed that we are all set now. Nothing happened of course, so I called on Saturday ( the day I was supposed to pick up my car) my sales person had a day off, so I talked to Bryan, who was very helpful and professional and told me that the Lien Holder was misspelled so I had to fix that and fax it again since the lady was not able to open a PDF file in 2016. On Monday I called Rosa who is suppose to be above my sales person and she said I can pick up the car on Tuesday. Tuesday morning around 11am as Im getting ready to pick up my car, I got a call from Rosa saying the car wont be ready because they didn;t have the key but the installed the tracker and got the inspection done ( how do you do that without a key? ). So I asked to speak with her manager and she said my manager is busy and will stay busy for the rest of the day! Called the main line and asked to speak with the manager, no response again. I have no idea who to contact anymore!

My review is for the Used Car department. Let me begin by saying my salesperson was helpful. But the manager was your typical used car salesman with a lame bag of tricks. First off, while the salesperson is showing me the vehicle (which was very clean and looked great), her manager comes up out of nowhere and tries to trick me into thinking a person with the same name as me from another city is also interested in the vehicle. Nice try #1. Then as we proceed with the deal, he offers me 3k below the trade-in value of my vehicle, and has the nerve to say "Oh maybe my guy looked at the wrong vehicle. Let me have them look at it again". He comes back later with a figure close to what I had in mind for my trade-in. Nice try #2. So the deal process continues. The awkward small talk continues, blah blah blah, not interested in conversing with someone who clearly is a shyster. Nice try #3. He then hands me a printout of the value of the vehicle Im interested in and says "Youre getting a great deal, you know that right?" Of course I know that. Thats why I came to look at the vehicle! Nice try #4. What really got me is when they asked for my title before I even made it to the finance department! I dont think so! This is not a done deal and anyone who gives in to these shady tricks is mindless. Nice try #5. So I finally made it to the finance department where they tried to rope me into a 72 month loan. According to the finance guy, even he has a 72 month loan. Whatever you say, buddy. Nice try #6. The deal didnt work out since they wouldnt budge on the price of the vehicle and meet my requirements. I definitely would not go back to Criswell Honda Used Cars anytime soon, and will not recommend them to anyone. It’s disappointing that there are still Scumbag car dealers around these days. SHADY SHADY SHADY!!

I am consistently amazed at the incompetence and service quality at Criswell Honda. Unfortunately, they are by far the closest Honda dealer, so I pretty much have to go through them for major repairs or Recalls. The first time I dealt with them, they "fixed" the back door which had issues after getting rear-ended. It took 3 trips because each time, it had been done incompletely. Even after the 3rd time it still makes a whistling sound on the highway because of some incomplete seal somewhere. When I took my other car in for a recall, they notified me that I needed new brake pads and rotors and quoted me a price around $800. My regular mechanic charged less than HALF of that. Finally, I needed new keys for one of my cars, and the service rep promised the day before they had the requisite keys in stock. After I dropped it off the following day (estimated 3 hours to cut 2 keys because they are also not fast at repairs or literally anything), they called to let me know they did NOT have the keys. Turned out this was an internal miscommunication and they did have the keys, but the lack of organization and potential mishap of informing a customer of the problem AFTER THEY DROPPED OFF THE CAR AND LEFT is indicative of their general capabilities. Oh and they only finished the rekeying after 5 hours (2 more than originally predicted) after I called them to inquire (the error was due to either the incompetence of their technician or the failure of their materials - neither alternative inspires much confidence). If you have any choice in the matter, avoid. They charge high prices for poor and slow service. The one saving grace is that the customer service people are pretty nice.

I was shopping around a number of cars and dealers, and Criswell was the only one that still had the in-your-face, high pressure, knock-all-the-other-brands sales approach. I was greeted in the parking lot as I approached the building, and was immediately brought to the sales desk where the 3rd question was "what will it take to get you to go home with a car today?" Whoa - I just wanted to test drive to know what car I was even in the market for. The whole ride was talking about how great the car was, and how the other companies dont compare to Honda. I wanted to leave as quickly as possible to avoid the situation, but of course they wanted to have the manager come by and talk about what I thought of the car. It was like sharks circling the diver. Forget it... Ive also had the displeasure of having my previous car serviced by them, where they tried to screw me out of a $160 for a fluid change service that wasnt needed before considering my warranty item. Only when I told them forget it, Ill just pick up my car and take it to a different dealer, did they call me back with "oh, we just found your issue in the service bulletins - youre right, it is covered under warranty." So: they are either 1) incompetent and are not able to research warranty claims successfully, or 2) are shady and tried to milk me for a high-margin job that would be done as part of the warranty repair anyway. Either scenario is bad for you, the customer. It was a good thing that I used to work at a dealer as a mechanic so I could call them out on this. But for those that dont have that background - Im not sure how well they would have caught this. How many others are being screwed?
