I needed a replacement car because I had just been in a smashup which totaled my 2012 Ford Fusion SE. I had bought that car in June 2012 brand new at Cowles of Woodbridge, Va.. But, for a variety of reasons, I decided I was not going to even begin to attempt to do business again with those folks. The least bad thing I feel that I dare say about that dealership is that I ended up with a long-term dark-brown taste in my mouth. In the five years Ive had the car, I had a couple of mechanical issues with my 2012 Fusion. I figured, however, that those problems happened to be an aberattion of the brand and model of vehicle. And I decided to get another Fusion instead of going to any other brand similarly or better equipped. Although I exist in a rambler in Manassas, Va., I decided to give Sheehy Ford of Gaithersburg a try because of a horrible mechanical problem I had one weekend this past 2016 winter. The throttle body was conking out and causing the 2012 Fusion to stop on a Friday night on 495. I was visiting my fiancee in Rockville. The next day, with not much time left before closing, I limped the 2012 Fusion to Sheehy Ford of Gaithersburg. The service manager quickly fit in my car to be checked. The throttle body which had been replaced in October 2015 was bad and needed to be replaced. One throttle body was left in stock. So, in a relatively short amount of time, the part was replaced, and my fiancee and I were out the door. A friend of my fiancee highly recommended Salesman Guillermo "Willy" Brandon of Sheehy Ford of Gaithersburg, Md. He is a prince of a person and salesman. Willy meticulously took the time and made a humongous effort to help me find a replacement vehicle. A 2015 Fusion SE AWD happened to be available--loaded to the hilt with technological magic for a highly competitive price. It has less than 14,000 miles on the odometer. In the bargain, it has a moonroof. It was a deal, in short, that I couldnt refuse. Willy Brandon is an American treasure who happens to have been born in Lima, Peru. He explained which vehicles were available and the costs. Willy did not try to pressure me about any vehicle. Willy knows and understands and fully explains everything one could want to know about the vehicles in Sheehy Ford of Gaithersburgs inventory. The Incans in all their magnificent glory could not have created a better person to sell vehicles for Sheehy Ford of Gaithersburg, Md. Whether ones native tongue is English or Spanish, a person, in my exceptional experience, would only be doing himself or herself a favor to seek out Guillermo "Willy" Brandon to discuss a possible vehicle purchase.

Sheehy Ford – Terrible Customer Service Wednesday May 17, 2017 I called Sheehy Ford and asked for a service appoint for my 2015 Ford Escape. I scheduled an oil change and vehicle recall service. I was offered an appointment at 9:40 PM Friday May 19, 2017. I arrived at the dealership early (9:30 AM) as suggested and met with a service representative. He logged the car in and suggested that since the repair would take sometime that I utilize the free rental car offered by Ford Motor for the day. I took the rental car offer. At 3 :00 PM I called the service department and learned that the service on my car had not been initiated. I asked if it would be completed today, the representative I talk to on the phone said that he was not sure. I asked, if that is the case and the car need to be held over for service who pays for the rental car. I WAS TOLD THAT I WOULD HAVE TO PAY RENTAL CHARGES BEYOND ONE DAY. I drove to the dealership and picked up my car. In route, I received a call from the service manager telling me that he had found a technician who would be willing to stay and complete the repair this afternoon/evening. I told him not to bother. The fact is, I was not going to return to the dealership, late on a Friday evening to pickup my car. Nor did I want to turn in the rental car after the agency was closed and be charged for a second day. Why would Sheehy Ford schedule an appointment several days in advance and then not commence service on or about that time? There is no real purpose and value to the customer in establishing a service appointment with this dealership Why would Sheehy Ford, offer a free rental car (paid for by Ford Motor Company) and then put me in a position of having to pay for it? That is terrible customer service. At the time I bought the vehicle from Sheehy IN NOVEMBER 2014, they tried pressuring me into a service contract. I AM GLAD THAT I DID NOT ACCEPT THEIR OFFER. THIS IS THE SECOND TIME THEIR SERVICE DEPARTMENT HAS PULLED A BAIT AND SWITCH. THE FIRST TIME WAS LAST FALL, WHEN I WAS TOLD MY OIL CHANGE WOULD BE FREE. I FOUND OUT WHEN I GOT TO THE DEALERSHIP THAT MY OFER HAD EXPIRED. I paid for the oil change.

The BEST BEST BEST car buying experience I have ever had!!!! I normally dread buying cars, absolutely dread the process. I dread the negotiating, the having to avoid salespeople trying to push features/packages were clearly not interested in because we cant afford it, and dealing with excessively high loan interest rate offers. After a bad experience at Mazda and Carmax, we walked into Ford an hour before close desperate to find a car that met our budget and size needs. Our sales rep, Indu, was so kind and patient and listened so carefully. He was warm and made us feel right at home. I could not believe how relaxed I felt instantly (and Im 7 months pregnant, thats not an easy feat). He made our entire sales process smooth, answered all of our questions and the entire experience just felt very genuine, like he truly wanted to help us find the perfect car. Once we test drove and fell in love with the Escape, Bernie, in accounting, made the entire loan application process a breeze! I never once felt stressed or worried. Bernie was also very kind, worked as swiftly as he could and got us an excellent deal. Our usual dealer experience involves having to go back and forth negotiating and at Sheehy this was not the case. We got the perfect deal right away and left happier than ever! I could not recommend Sheehy Ford enough and will be spreading the word to my friends and family.

This review is of the sales department. My son was looking to buy a used car. We went in to Sheehy simply to test drive the Ford Fusion ST. We were welcomed by a young man named Blake who let us drive a car. Blake had no idea we were just looking for a used car but when we told him that when we got back, his excellent service never changed. He helped my son look up cars they may have online and none were in his price range. Even though it did not look like we would end up purchasing from Blake, he still let my son and then his father come and test drive the car again to see how they liked it. They also drove models that were higher and lower than the original car they were looking at. Still Blake continued to be extremely helpful and always friendly. As it turned out, my son decided to get a new car and finance it. Due to Blakes exceptional customer service, we went to him to purchase. The whole experience was wonderful. He gave my son a very good price on the car applying all the discounts he could and even found one on another lot that matched the color he wanted. It was a great experience for my son for his first car purchase. He even took a picture of Blake and him by the car when he came to pick it up. I would highly recommend Blake and Sheehy Ford of Gaithersburg. They were both great!!
