Purchased a used 2014 Toyota Corolla back in February and I was helped by the salesman and so as the manager named PJ Mehta. Everything went smooth except when I was given the keys...apprarently I was told that the previous owner has not returned the spare keys yet and I should get them once I pick up my tags. Three weeks came and I have not heard from them about the tags so I decided to call myself and check. The tags actually came two weeks after and it was just sitting at their office without notifying me. I found this out because the dates that it was recieved was showing on their filing cabinet. I again met my saleman at the used car office and he help me install the tags. As soon as I ask for the spare keys he told me that the previous owner never returned it. This is when I asked again PJ and he told me that they unfortunately do not have control on this and that I will just either pay for one if I really want them. At this point I was unhappy cause everything got switch...so he said that he can work on something out in terms of the cost since I also complained about the tags that was just sitting with no notification. I felt that they just want the money upfront and care less after they got you sold. Then pj offered me a discounted cost on the spare key and said he will work on the cost once he placed the order for the service center. The part came in and when I decided to schedule an appointment after 5 months I was told that there was no notes on the adjustment cost and I will have to pay atleast $300 just for the programming. Front desk person said that PJ was at the meeting until 10am to verify something since I said that they should have notes about discounted cost...so I waited and when I finally showed up around 10:20am with no follow-up call; guy said that there no notes at all. I tried to call Pjs desk but someone answered instead and told me that pj wont come in until 1pm. I went again and told the front desk person that someone said that he wont be in until 1pm...so who did you confirm this to? He replied and I dont really know. This whole thing became a disaster so I said forget about it. I even emailed Pj Mehta about the current situation but never heard from him at all. I wish that from the begging the sense of urgency is being in placed and the customer service is being executed all thruout the sales. Unfortunately it stopped right away once you sign the papers. I hope this wont happen to any of the people who is trying to buy a new/used car at this pace. ***updated** I had a call right away to escalate the issue and was so thankful that this will be resolve soon.

Dar cars is a worst company, I will never buy a car from them again and I dont recommend any one to these guys. If you get a chance never go to them. They put all rubbish to you/your loan(without your knowledge) to extract money from you and harass to pay you back the money what you need to get it. Here is my story Buying a car: I bought a Toyota 2014 Camry from Darcar, 355 Toyota, Rockville on Oct 24, 2014. My car was XLE model(top end) cost me $24500 and opted for a loan, to get a loan from Toyota they had added all the Insurance, Gap Coverage, Two Extend Warranty all of them without telling me anything how much it is going to cost me. Canceling Added Services: Finally one fine day i wanted to prepay the loan and called them, got a big shock about the amount i need to pay them is 30400. When I call called Dar car Sales Rep, he is saying i dont know who you are, you come and i talk to me then i will answer and disconnected the call. Finally after lot of follow-up with Sales Manager he explained the charge they had added to my car then i asked to cancel all added services. They took a letter from me on Nov 11, 2014 and they never send to cancel my extended warranty/gap/life insurance(trans America). I had to mail all the cancelation letters to Transamerica and Toyota Finance individually to cancel these and after spending so much of time with these guys finally I did that and it is canceled. Getting refund: For all Toyota Finance cancellations i got refund in couple of days but for Transamerica policy cancelation they started Circus. I sent a letter to Transamerica for cancelation, they are saying refund sent to Toyota Finance. Toyota Finance is saying they did not receive anything for the cancelation. Got two of them into a bridge and got to know they sent refund to Dealer. Now it is the time to paly dealer game. Called Dealer is saying, he will send refund to Toyota Finance :-(

Damn place sounds like a broking record player. They are very persistent to get you to buy a car even after telling them give me some time to think about it. Constantly repeating themselves over and over. " So what will make you buy this car tonight?" What makes you think I want to buy this car at all? Worse part is listening to a salesperson try to sell you a car that you already know everything about. Its more like just shut up already I know what I need to know, I dont need to be in a damn classroom full of stupid people ask the same question over and over again. I bought a 2009 Corolla from them when it was brand new, after the waiting around forever I really should have walked out. When I finally got back to the finance guy, I couldnt understand a damn word he was saying b/c his accent was so thick and to top it off one of the most unpleasant people I have meet there. Every time I would ask a question he would shove a piece of paper in my face trying to get me to sign it. Sorry if this sounds harsh or hatred but when it comes to my money get me someone who can speak English and not some kind of mumbling baboon. I would never consider buying another car here again b/c of their deceitful salespeople and their so call manger who takes forever making decision on everything and if for some reason you get as far as signing people work good luck to you b/c you can expect at least 2 to 3 hours of waiting. On a brighter note their service department is top notch. I have been bringing all my cars here over the years since 95. Their bay has gotten larger and the people who work on my car has been fair. They would point out major problems and would take it to my other mechanic for repairs. (dont like paying dealership prices for repairs). I will continue to at least get all my car service needs there.

READ ME! I do not own stock nor do I have family who works here. My review is honest and not misleading. I bought my Camry about almost 2 years ago and I have had my service preformed by this service department since I bought it. I LOVE the PEOPLE and the SERVICE in this department. They always greet you with a smile and get in you in and out even on busy days. Now, I have rushed in there last minute -a few times (sad to say yes! I am one of those people) and I am ALWAYS greeted with a smile and they always say "we will take care of it for you". YOU CAN NOT GET THAT SERVICE ANYWHERE ELSE just at 355 Toyota SERVICE. They will match deals they are amazing. The Service Head Scott, is a busy man ,but never too busy for his customers. He will look at your car, himself. I never seen that from any service department before unless your disputing the work (no disputes here). For example I wanted my tires looked at prior to a long trip and 355 said no problem telling me to come in and we will check it out for you. I walked in 30 minutes to closing time (traffic); was greeted with a smile and took a look at my tires. I had a nail in the back tire! Who knew? Do you know how relieved I was that I came in. I TRUST this place. They took my car in as a walk in bases, right then and there. I didnt even ask, he said to me "if you want, we can fix it for you right now" (he knew I was going on this trip) and I said "I feel bad, you are about to close" then he said " Don t worry about that, we can take care of this for you." Yes! this just one of the reasons I love this place and I know you will too.
