Until recently this location was open 24-7 and still has very long hours. That is its only good feature. I have been dropping in here for off hours needs for about 3 years. I have never been impressed. And I have seen them treat customers terribly at times. I can only tolerate this place because I know how to use the equipment and can usually avoid interacting with the staff. I do not get business cards printed there, but have heard them tell customers that it can take 5 days or more and they wont guarantee your card will look right. All this at a higher prices than office stores--four or five times as much as I pay for my online printer that offers 100% satisfaction and has delivered every time. Generally dont count on much technical expertise from FedEx Office (Kinkos) staff. Unless you are desperate for an after hours print job because you have a presentation first thing in the morning, do yourself a huge favor and go to a real printer. Even then, Id consider Kinkos only after trying Staples, Office Depot, and whether my presentation would work without the visuals. They do not understand file formats other than PDF. In the case of PDF they only know the basics. When a customer arrives to pick up a large job it is usually hard to find because they are disorganized behind the counter and the person who ran the job will usually not be the person informing you of the status. This happened to me with some laminations I had them run. Some of the clerks are surly and obnoxious. I have heard them be rude to customers on the phone, then complain about the conversation in front of other patrons. As for the computers, expect slightly less knowledge than you would get from a high school computer lab assistant. If you are nearly computer illiterate they can help you get started, but will give you bad attitude the whole time. If youre a more advanced user and cant figure it out yourself neither can they. Nor will they care. I give this place a star for its hours. Spare yourself the trip.

I do my online printing through this office and it is always done perfectly. I get my emails letting me know they got my order, and its suppose to take 3 hours to print it up, but I get an email in about 20 minutes telling me my order is complete. I have a business where I need drawings printed up, and I run it all through the Gaithersburg Fed Ex office. I did have one time when an order wasnt finished. I told the person behind the counter, and they printed it up immediately for me. I ship out of this office also. I rarely if ever wait in line. I just walk up and see the person behind the counter and off my package goes. I tried UPS, but the website isnt as user friendly, and using federal express is a higher standard in mine and my clients eyes. I ship locally and across the country. Its been great.

I called ahead to ask what the rate was to scan legal size documents and the woman told me 42 cents a minute. When I got there, the scanner attached to their computer could not hold paper that size. When I asked her if there was another scanner she seemed put out and said that she would "have to do it for me" ("HAVE to"...not "oh sorry I gave you incorrect information, Ill do it for you") -- then she said it would cost $.89 per sheet. No discount for giving me completely wrong information which lead me to believe I could scan in about 3 sheets per minute myself at a rate of 42 cents/minute. Also no apology whatsoever.

I use this location to print the weekly bullentin for our church service and our monthly newsletter. I usually send my documents via email and pick up a few hours later. The service is always good and my jobs are always ready on time. The clerks are professional and accommodating. The only complaint I have is that they are always short staffed and I often have to wait for to pay for my order. Since I usually pick the order up on my way to church on Sunday, I rather not have to wait for 2-4 customers to be serviced at 9AM on a Sunday morning, Other than than, theyre alright with me.

All printed material are ridiculously overpriced!! I tried vistaprint and when I received mediocre quality cards and brochure, a friend suggested I give fedex-kinkos a try. I got better quality paper brochures at this other local printer for 58% less than what kinkos quoted me and posters at almost half the price!! Fedex services are good only when you need after-hours photocopying, thats all! I will consider using their services whenever they decide to lower their prices by 50%.

I wish they could get the self service machines to be more reliable. The last time I was in, I logged into my Google drive to print off a document and got an error. An associate helped, found the same problem and ended up having me email the location. An hour later I get an email from Google that my password was compromised and there was unauthorized activity on my account (first time ever in 7 years). I emailed support to let them know, havent heard back.

Had occasion to ship a package this morning, and while I had previously used the Rockville office (off Gude Drive), I thought Id check this office out. Reviews here had been none too kind, but I found the staff to be prompt and cordial in their service today. Store seems fully equipped and stocked with every kind of shipping and printing need, and I would definitely visit them again for my shipping.

I came here yesterday on June 6, 2017 for the first time at 10:33AM to pick up my package (which I placed on Hold) from a 3rd party Amazon seller at this FedEx location, which has a huge interior, thats for sure! The clerk, this Indian guy, asked for my ID and after I signed on the screen, I received my package and left a happy camper.
