This place is a terrible representation of the Kinkos brand. I am a business man who relies on companies like this to keep my place running smoothly. I also expect great service and quality that can translate to my business services. I came here two days ago to have contracts copied. I was told that it would be finished yesterday. I dropped by to pick it up and was told it wasnt ready and to come back. I came a second time still not ready. I came again today and the quality was absurd. Then they charged me more to have a better quality copy made. The sample was horrible too. Eventually after having to come by 6 times in two days with not a single apology I decided to just leave and let it Be. Needless to say I wont be coming back. I officially loathe this place. Save yourself a trip or six and find another spot.

I know that not all locations can do large flatbed color scanning (16 inch X 20 inch) into a JPEG file. So, I called around. I telephoned this Rockville, Maryland store (at 11560 Rockville Pike) on 14-MARCH-08 at approx 07:15pm, and asked if they provide this service. I was assured they did. I even asked for an estimate, and the person told me approximately $20. So, I drive there today (15-MARCH-08) which is 20 miles each way, only to find-out they did not have the equipment to do this. So why in heck does one even bother to call??? It cost me 2 gallons of gas, and in all the traffic, an hour and forty-five minutes of my time.... AND, I missed my deadline. What shabby service, and how utterly un-professional. The next time I use Kinkos, they will be serving snow cones in hell!

I have never been so impressed so the sheer quantity of incompetence. I dont think anyone there has been trained. Whoever you direct a question towards will have to go consult with another (undertrained) employee who will probably not have the answer. I wanted to take the mouse from one of the employees and do the job myself! Two times that I have been there, extremely simple jobs (printing plain black/white flyers on standard paper) have taken 35-50 minutes (including wait). One time I ordered a job ahead of time, came half an hour after it was supposed to be ready, and still had to wait 20 minutes. Oh and I was incorrectly charged each time. Twice they did not do the job as requested, or just gave me a flawed product altogether. STAY AWAY.

Horrible customer service!!! I arrived 10 min before the last pickup for the day, there was just one couple ahead of me, and the entire 9 1/2 min of it a had to watch how she (FedEx worker) was wrapping their stuff in bubble wrap - at a leisurely pace, like she had an entire day to do that... There was nothing "Express" about that, "Federal" or not...then they realized that too and asked her not to wrap, then it took her forever to comprehend if they wanted it wrapped or not... In the last 30 seconds, with my lips all bitten, another clerk came out and took my envelope. For Gods sake!!! Who hired people like that for customer service positions???????

Bad experience. I needed a poster printed. An earlier version of the same poster was already printed at a different FedEx office facility. The staff here first told me it could not be printed, then, after wasting about half an hour of my time on the phone, named a price which was more than twice what I had originally paid for the same job. I offered to forward them the invoice for the first printing, but was told that they are "not authorized" to offer any different price. I told them they are not authorized to have me as a customer either.

I was told that the FedEx in Portland (where I live) had pretty bad customer service. Apparently this applies to multiple locations. I was trying to place an online poster order to be delivered to a nearby conference center, and the system wouldnt accept my email address, so I called. The woman I spoke with was pretty rude and seemed to be in SUCH a hurry to get me off of the phone. She was annoyed that I was asking questions.

"Call Customer Service"......was the direction given to me, this morning, when I inquired about pack and ship service to FL. I waited 20 minutes for someone to help me, all while noting 3 employees engaged in other activities. Rather than belabor their customer service shortfalls, just head up or down the Pike to another location. No need to even make a stop at this location!

I have done a lot of business with this branch, at all hours of day and night. The staff has always been helpful and courteous, and I have never once had a problem with anything they have done for me. I am a Realtor, and I always need something done perfectly and fast. They have met the challenge every time. I have been a satisfied FedEx Kinkos customer for years.

You know what? In spite of some of the abysmal reviews, this shop does a fairly good job with dealing with basic print jobs that they receive by email. Friendly staff. I have used this location to fax, ship and email print jobs. Not bad for an urban print shop.

Very poor customer service. FedEx Rockville totally screwed up my return shipment of 2 paintings. FedEx in Lynchburg, Va would only ship one painting because the labels were copies (i.e., tracking numbers identical).. I would give zero stars if possible.

Employees tend to ignore customers. It was this way throughout the year on multiple occasions. Unless the manager is present, service doesnt exist. This place is overdue for a change. I will use another location and remind everyone I know to do the same.
