BEWARE of this place if you have intentions of buying on layaway. It clearly states on the receipt that if you change your mind within 7 days of making a deposit for a layaway item, you will get a full refund. My husband returned after 4 days of making a deposit on an item I had on layaway simply because I found something better and cheaper elsewhere. He presented my receipt and was met with a whole heap of disgusting rudeness from the store clerk (he recorded the entire conversation, and will be submitting that audio file, along with a copy of the receipt to the corporate office when we file a complaint for fraudulent conversion)! Honestly, I do not know how these buffoons are approved to be hired, yet alone having to deal with customers, which, if they dont shop, the store will eventually go out of business! I made a deposit of $20 and the idiot in the glasses (rude and obstinate store clerk who looks Reno Wilson from The Cosby Show) told him that he didnt care about questions regarding the printed store policy on the receipt, layaway policy on display for customers, and the policy on the website (among other unnecessary things), and that he will only be refunded $9 IN STORE CREDIT??? I will say that the Night Manager, while unable to process the return (the Day Manager handles that sort of transaction), had a much firmer grip on CUSTOMER SERVICE. Yes indeed, despicable things are afoot! You have been warned!

Today is the second time I have been to this store. This older, slightly bigger, red haired Caucasian lady, in the mens department wearing a black uniform and a microphone was so RUDE to me! It ruined my entire morning. Im African American and she said some things to make me feel like were not welcome there. I hope this doesnt represent what Burlingtons coat factory stands for. If that was my employee, she wouldnt have a job anymore. My friend told me to say something so that it doesnt happen to someone else. I love this area and Im friendly to everyone. I hope this is the first and only time that has happened.

I beg of you, do not waste your time or money here. I have nicknamed this place "Ghetto Depot". The a/c is never working on the second level, customers are sweating and shopping. The merchandise is not properly stocked (ie: not one evenflo nipple in fast flow.) There is no one to help you. One register is open at the front and the return policy is pathetic at best. Drive to Germantown and go to Target or order online!!!

Worst place to shop.i went there 12/29/2016 to buy 2 jackets.Loooong line and only 2 registers open...Come ooooon people stop being stingy and hire employees and open all the registers at least holiday season...unless only two registers work and the rest are for decoration.After waiting 30 minutes in line,hung the jackets back up and left...Never coming to this store again and will tell all my friends and family...

This store has no "tall" clothing. I went to this store because Im 6 4 and was told by someone that Burlington is more accommodating to tall people. They did have a section called "big and tall", but like many such sections, it exclusively caters to hefty people. I searched the racks and didnt find a single shirt marked "tall".

Burlington Coat factory with no coats. Went there in the middle of winter to find new coat for my son he ripped his current one and to my dismay found crap. They had the poorest selection and half of the coats were on the floor. wont waste my time there again.
