I switched over services. I got my new phone relatively easily. But when trying to transfer my old number over they made a mistake in entering my last name and my address, so now my old service wont release my phone number because those things dont match. After going back and forth for over a week they just assigned me a new number, and I was very clear that I wanted to keep my old number. Now it seems impossible to just get my old number. Update: The problem seems to be that Sprint is refusing to release my old phone number (even though they are required to do so by federal law), and not necessarily the sole fault of those at the Edgewood Cricket Store.
