I just left Hertrich in Easton Md on 11/11/2014. I applied online on 11/10/2014, my sales lady called me back and told me that I was approved with a payment of under 300.00 a month. She asked me when I wanted to come and pickup my car. I told her this week by Saturday. She said great its yours. I asked her what time she would be there today and she said 8:30am everyday. I live 2 1/2 hours away. I got up at 6am and drove all the way there to sign the papers and pickup my new car, to be let down by the finance manager. The salesman that was there helping me, he didnt know what happened cause I was already approved. The finance manager came to me and said if you want this car my payments will be 700.00 a month. I told him no way that Dana already called me back and said that I was approved for the amount of 300.00 and he looked at me and said no. I felt as he did not want me to have the car at all and he know that I wasnt accepting a 700.00 car payment. He just looked at me and didnt say anything. The sales guy that helped me walked outside and said I dont know what his problem is today and why he gave you such a hard time on the car when youve been pre-approved. Then the sales guy said let me go back inside and get you a gas card for driving all the way here and being treated like I have. So he went inside and came back outside and stated that the finance manager said he wasnt giving me anything. The sales guy told me that he the finance manager was acting white today right in front of my mother. I said to him what cause Im a black lady. That shouldnt matter where the money comes from as long as I make my payments. I told him Ive just finished my real estate classes to become a realtor that I am not slum or a bum and plus I work at night. But as you see that I am writing a very bad review about them in Easton Hertrich the new dealership beside Royal Farms. I am very hurt and dissappointed in this business. And the salesguy that helped me was dissappointed with them also. I just talked to him and he said that he has went over the finance managers head about the situation and see if he will get it straight cause I was already approved for one amount before the manager changed the amount on me....... DISSATISFIED CUSTOMER.... BEWARE OF PRICE CHANGING TO STOP YOU FROM GETTING THE CAR THAT YOUR PRE-APPROVED FOR.....

A little late with my review but here it goes.....Be very very careful when choosing which dealership to purchase your new or used vehicle from!!! I recently purchased a 2012 Buick Lacrosse with LOW MILEAGE from Hertrich Chevy Buick of Easton just a couple months ago( purchase was smooth sailing) which i just picked up from Service AGAIN for the 3rd time! I have had the vehicle in Service 3 times since I purchased in mid Feb. Thank god it is still under warranty but still who wants to go threw all that extra so soon/this many times within 2 months after making that kind of purchase! Im not saying all their dealerships are bad or all their vehicles are either because this is not the 1st or 2nd Ive purchased from a Hertrich dealership & never had a problem in the past. 3 days Before having the Buick back in service for the 3rd time my husband & I went back giving them the benefit of the doubt & purchased a 2014 Malibu which so far has been running just fine THANK GOD! 6 days after that I traded the Buick for a Camry which has been running just fine!( if I had thought long & hard b4 just rushing letting them pull my credit to get out the Buick I wouldve went some place else to get out of it!) But all the extra Ive been threw after each purchase as far as the back n forth with the Buick problems losing money on tint I paid to have put on it & had to trade in after only 2 months going back n forth about an awful paint job that was done on the Malibu only to fix a minor scratch(then they start to act like youre being a pain because your mad because the paint looks worst then it did before the guy started the work) & the 2 wk wait on a darn spare key I WONT BE BACK!! They make money off you then take their dear time dealing with you all after that! Ive purchased MANY vehicles in my life & I have never went threw what Ive been threw with this dealership! A damn headache.... On a lighter note Chris Spurry my salesman if I caught him at another dealership in the future i would definitely work with him again hes very kind & very patient despite all the frustration I had built up. Its not the salesmans cause they only do what the guys overtop them say! Smh Just sharing my recent experience so that others can be mindful & very cautious when choosing a vehicle from this dealership! #angrycustom

Went in for a $99.00 diagnostic test, plus an oil change and tire rotation, scheduled for 10:00 am, at 3:00 they called back wanting to do another $99.00 diagnostic test. I talked to Rob and explained what all my research had found - that the wheel hub needed replacing. He said that it might be that or it might be something else, but their diagnosis was inconclusive. I asked for a price for either repair, but he could not give me one, and firmly indicated that I had no idea what I was talking about, and gave me a LOT of attitude, all of it bad. When pressed for pricing he indicated that it could be up to $1000.00 - or more, but would not be pinned down. I refused the second test. When my husband went to pick it up, the old oil sticker was still on the car, not 100% certain that the oil was even changed. Took it to Auto Zone for a FREE diagnostic test. Guess what? The wheel hub needed changing! Purchased one for $129.00 (it has the sensor in it - and no, Rob, it wasnt an old part that someone had "laying" around - an exact quote in discussing price parts), our son in law changed it in 30 minutes and all warning lights are off and all slipping stopped - working perfectly. They were slow, rude, and obviously had us pegged for suckers. We paid $158.00 for NO diagnosis, a "perhaps" oil change and a tire rotation. Perhaps a decent place to buy a car - but after this, it sure would be my last choice for anything.

I bought a 2014 Denali in Nov. It came with a certified pre owned warranty as well as extra bumper to bumper warranty I purchased. In April the check engine light came on and air conditioning wasnt working properly. Scheduled a apt with them at 1pm on a Monday. When I got there was told that it would take more than hour to diagnose. I told Rob that I would like to go to lunch. He told me he didnt have a shuttle driver and basically only option I had was to get a rental at my own expense or wait. I opted to get a rental. At 430p Rob called and told me the diagnosis, which was over 1800 worth of crap. And also told me that the air conditioning not working a result of a update that was needed but was not covered under warranty. Rob then told me that he had to wait to hear back from warranty co and he would get back to me. Next day around 1pm I call to check the status of my vehicle and was informed Rob was off that no-one had called about my vebhicle. Now its Wednesday, 2 days later, Rob calls and says that the warranty co agreed to fix truck but would only cover rental for 1 day, but he got them to cover 2. So It was my responsibility to pay for the rest. Rob did take the charge off for the a.c. upgrade but when I picked my vehicle up on Thursday I didnt even get a courtesy car wash. Very disappointed in the whole situation.
