I took my 2005 F150 in for a check up as there was an unfamiliar pinging noise coming from the engine compartment. I made an appointment ahead of time and dropped it off so they had it all day. I understand that not everything can be repaired in a day, but Ill get to that later. I told them that I commute 100+ miles a day each way and need the vehicle by the end of day if possible. I was told it would be looked at later that morning. 10am I call to check and theyre busy and will call back, they never called. I called around mid day theyre at lunch and I leave a message to call me, they still dont call. I call early afternoon and theyre with another customer and will call back. Still didnt get a call back. I got a ride to the dealer to check at 3:30pm. I see that its been moved so they looked at it. they say oh, here is the slip on their desk. They start to list all the stuff that its not which I told them I had already check most of it, pulleys and such. Then he tells me the mechanic thinks the noise is coming from the flexplate, and the truck has over 200k and didnt know how much I would want to spend chasing a noise. They guy at the desk recommended that I drive it till it breaks and being that its late and they dont have time to fix it now I left. They didnt even discuss how much it would cost or tell me what would be involved. I drive it for about a week like that hoping that I could get time to take it elsewhere but it gave out and left me stranded for 2 hours waiting for a tow. The dealer that now has it says the flexplate broke, so they got that right, but now it cracked the transmission and starter housing. Now instead of a $1300ish flexplate Im paying almost $4k for a new transmission. Not to mention the cost of the tow and rental car. I called Keller when I found this out and all they said was "What do you expect us to do?". They said it was busy that day which I understand, but the car was brought in looked at and parked without contacting me while it was in to see if I wanted to proceed. If youre busy fine, but when I get to the front of the line when Im home waiting for the call guess what its my turn. Dave in their shop said they would have looked into getting me into a loaner when I later spoke to him on the phone, but that wasnt mentioned when I was there. I figure they waited till the end of the day on a Friday and didnt want to dig into a trans issue. Its a shame that things went like this and I have to be this angry about it because Ive had them do good work in the past. I was under the impression that being the company that makes the vehicle they would be better suited to assist with this kind of issue but I would recommend going pretty much anywhere else for auto service.

First off I rarely write reviews, but I cant say enough about how impressed I am with Keller Bros Ford. I live in North Carolina and found a car my wife wanted on their website. My initial contact was Gary K. In Lititz and he stayed with it through the whole process (and I will say it was a LONG process through no fault of theirs). Our case was one of those VERY rare cases and the whole team at Keller Bros was absolutely exceptional. I went to college and graduated with a minor in Business Management and I can say without a doubt they do business the right way. It is rare these days to find a place that you feel like does everything they can to make sure their customers really are satisfied and they really are one of those places. I wouldnt hesitate for a second if I was looking for another car and they had what I wanted. Honestly I would make that drive again to PA to buy from them. So if you are hesitant because you arent sure about "dealers" or "dealerships" call and ask for Gary K. and I dont think you will be disappointed. Great job Keller Bros Ford for being one of those unusual dealerships! Keep up the good work!

I only had my 2010 Ford Edge in for a recall procedure concerning the fuel tank. No problem with that service. But previously I had it there to have the Power Transfer Unit checked out. The Ford dealer told me it was "failing" and needed replaced.....$1600-$1800. I told them I was reading a lot about these failing PTUs in their Ford Edges, and that I would hope Ford would pay to replace it. NO CHANCE!! I called Ford customer service. They communicated with my dealer, and the answer was "No resources available". My local dealer did offer a 25% discount towards the "Fix". Not much of an offer. Needless to say, I am very disappointed with Ford!! I have mentioned this to every Ford Edge owner that I know, and everyone who was considering buying a Ford Edge. Ford is making a bad decision not being willing to step up to the plate and cover the charges incorporated from a failing part with poor design. Most mechanics will agree with that. Sorry to say, a Ford product is not on the list of my next vehicle selection. And I will continue to share that information with everyone I associate with!

My wife and I bought one of the Keller families personal 6 month old Ford Escape. So far its broke down on us twice lucky in parking lots and not on route 30 or 283. The first time it broke down they had it for 2 weeks and told us they had no idea what was wrong with it. My wife suggested it might be the fuel pump and then they checked that and fixed it. We got the vehicle back with the backseat not put back in correctly and parts broken. They then took another 3 weeks to order parts because they and I quote forgot. Now it just broke down 8 months later and when my wife stranded called the customer comes first Keller they suggested a towing company she could call or she could try limping 7 miles to the dealership but the dealership would be closing at 6. There also has been other issues with this car. We are beyond frustrated with this car.
