I purchased a 2000 Honda Odyssey on October 1st, drove it off thlot and the check engine light came on. Called to make them aware of the issues and asked to back out of the deal, I was then told I couldnt because the car was already in my name, it would show as a repo on my credit and I would receive the title and hard tag within the next 2 weeks. October 5th I was at work and trying to go home for my lunch break, when the car would not start. I popped the hood and found a bottle of motor oil sitting on the engine, the battery had battery acid all over the top of it and around the cables. The cables were very clearly worn down and no good. I had to leave the car sitting overnight after attempting to jump it with 3 different vehicles. I bought a new car battery and it started October 6th. I took the car back to be fixed October 6th and was told it would be fixed and ready by October 8th. I picked the car up October 8th and not even 10 minutes down the road, the check engine light came on again. Due to work and transportation issues I was not able to take the car back again until November 3rd, I was told that it would not be an issue with the 30 day warranty being exhausted since I had made them aware of the issues beforehand. I was told it would be ready November 5th. I picked it up November 5th and there were no signs of any repairs. On November 6th the check engine light came back on. I called back again and was told that the problems were fixed but that the service department didnt have the right computer to clear the code and for me to go ahead and take it to be inspected, if it didnt pass to bring it back and they would fix the problems. I called back a few days later to let them know it wasnt going to pass to which I was told the 30 day warranty was exaushted and no more work would be done to the car, that the car belongs to the bank (credit acceptance) and I should call them to deal with the situation. I called Credit Acceptance and explained the whole situation to them to which they filed a complaint with their claims department and they would be in contact within 72 hours. November 21st I was contacted. I tried multiple times to get a hold of them but was constantly put on hold for over 30 minutes. As I was on hold, Aamir called me and asked if I wanted to back out of the loan before he submitted the tag and title paperwork. He said he would give me back my down payment, take the car back and sell it to auction, and call the bank in front of me to cancel the loan. I agreed to bring the car back November 30th since I had already made the car and insurance payment for that month. I took the car back November 30th, to which Aamir surprisingly followed through on his word, gave me back my money and called the bank in front of me on speaker phone to cancel the loan. For the 2 months that I had the car it had been a nightmare to get anything fixed or resolved but once I filed complaints with the right people (Better Business Bureau, federal trades commission, the attorney generals office, and your finance company), I was able to get the ball rolling in the right direction. If you plan to purchase a vehicle with Carfirst make sure you do your research first and have some knowledge about what it is you might be getting yourself into. Tread lightly. It has been a couple days now since I turned the vehicle back over to Aamir and since then he has continued to contact me about the reviews I posted. He is more interested in these reviews than actually trying to help his customers out.

Be careful! We were sold a van that had many mechanical problems. The vehicle was purchased on October 1st 2016. After 2 repair appointments on 10/8 and 10/21, where nothing was done to the vehicle at all and many phone calls with Aamir, we decided to file complaints with several different agencies. 1. BBB 2. Attorney generals office 3. Credit acceptance 4. Federal trades commission. Originally when our 30 day warranty was up Aamir said it was no longer his problem and he was not going to fix anything. For some reason on 11/21 he called and said he would take the vehicle back, undo the loan, refund deposit as well as the bank refunding any payments that were made. On 11/22 he called again and said either we had to keep the van or give him $1800. For rental fees for the 2 months we drove the van. I asked him if he was aware of the attorney general and the federal trades commission, he replied with "I need you to do me a favor". He asked for us to change our reviews to say he was satisfying us. I told him that when the deal was done, exactly the way we discussed, we would change our reviews to say that we were satisfied. He kept his word with us and this morning we returned the van, recieved our deposit back in cash and the finance company is removing the loan and returning the payment we made. I must say that as of today I am completely satisfied that this whole ordeal is over, even though or $600.00 for tags and taxes was not returned! I am hoping that anyone who has been taken advantage of by this business will also be satisfied in some way. I urge anyone who is having these problems to contact the agencies I listed above! The attorney generals office told me to refer all that I could to their office to file a complaint! Credit acceptance also does have a department that will investigate your complaint. anyone who would like to reach out to me, this is my real name and I can be reached through google plus or facebook. Sadly I cannot recommend or suggest this place to anyone. I will also say, keep in mind that although carfirst may feel like your only option, there is a very good chance that you may end up without a vehicle soon after putting money down and signing a financial contract which put you in a worse position then you were in before going there! Thank you Aamir for taking care of this problem the right way! The only good reviews for this business are posted by employees or relatives. For every bad review they post about 4 or 5 good reviews to boost thier ratings. Do not buy the 2000 Honda odyssey that has a different color drivers door, tinted head lights, obvious body damage that has been poorly covered up! That is the vehicle we returned

I purchased a car 11/2016 ... it was my first time purchasing a car ever. I needed transportation to get me and my two kids around. I am a young female and dont really know much about cars. Not realizing that I was going to be getting myself into the worst first car deal ever. I was assured that my car was in good condition nothing needed to be fixed it was alright Aamir said. First of all it wasnt even a car that I would choose for me and my kids . I wanted something 4 door something that would be easier to get my 10 month old daughter out who cant walk because I am currently 7 months pregnant. Aamir pushed me into getting a car that I completely had no interest in. He took advantage of the fact that I really didnt know much. Going through the paperwork he didnt briefly explain anything to me he just rushed me to sign off everything. I just kept thinking to myself that if I didnt get a car how am I going to make sure me and my kids get to our destination without being in the cold . Aamir took my lack of knowledge about cars and my situation and ran with it . As I drove off the lot but I wasnt satisfied with what I was driving and I wasnt satisfied with how I was rushed to sign through the paperwork. I then went to stop at a stop sign around the corner from my house and my breaks started squeaking really loud. As I said I didnt know much about cars so I looked up what that meant and turns out that means the breaks need to be changed or checked or something like that. I call carfirsst tell them and they tell me to come in tomorrow. I then tried out my heat because its going to be freezing outside the heat was blowing out cold air. I was thinking like o maybe the car just needs to warm up a little.... that wasnt the case the heat was broken. The part that I really disliked about this car being that its ready to be cold as hell outside its a convertible
