Just opened and unfortunately cant say they are a good addition to the community. They only had 2 employees for the ENTIRE store - one pharmacist and one cashier at the front of the store. Typical CVS! Had a long wait because the pharmacist was trying to fill prescriptions, run the register, and run back and forth between the drive-through and the front. Meanwhile the liquor store next door (which is about 1/3 the size) had TWO employees and no wait. And they were just selling liquor - not life-saving medications! Why is that CVS has the money to build a store on nearly every corner, but cant afford to put more than 2 people in the store to wait on the customers? The "mom and pop" store across the street does! I brought it to the managers attention and he actually told me that this is the CVS model for business. He said that he was told that if "they weret struggling to keep up - then they were overstaffed!" What this translates to me is that it doesnt matter if customers are inconvenienced - its good for profit. Also an indication that this stores level of customer service will not improve. Bad customer service and overworked employees is not a business philosophy we should embrace when attracting big chain stores to Columbia. Im taking my business elsewhere!

Theres a huge problem with them ordering medications. Its not uncommon for my doctor to send them an electronic RX before its time to actually have it filled (its sent to them at the time of my office visit which is always before I run out of medication). Because of this, the pharmacy holds onto the RX until its time to fill it. However, what happens is that when I go to pick the medication up, Im told its not ready because they have to order it. Why they dont order it in advance of its fill date" so that its really on that date is beyond me. Its Friday and while other pharmacies can get orders to their locations in 1-2 business days, CVS is telling me if they order it today, it wont arrive until WEDNESDAY?? Argh.

I agree with other posters, this CVS IS NOT a positive addition to the Wilde Lake community. The community would have been better served with an empty lot. Customer service has been poor since it opened. Pharmacy is very slow, especially the customer facing staff. They cant get out of their own way.

Prescriptions not ready when promised and when my doctor faxed over rxs to the pharmacy they claimed they didnt receive them. This happened twice. The attitude of the pharmacy leaves a lot to be desired. Even though its close to home Ill stick with Wegmans.

Lines at the pharmacy had 3 or 4 at a time - prescription not filled when promised and was hours late. They seem to get backed up and dont have enough people to properly handle the customers who have moved their prescriptions there.

Whatever, its a CVS. You will spend more on any given item here unless you have their card or its on some sale. I dont really have time to play their games with CVS bucks, so I just take a pass and run in only if desperate.
