On December 30,2013 I impulsively purchased the Zayley bedroom set from this store for my daughter, we had been looking for months. The in store experience was average. The sales agent, Charlie, was knowledgable of his product and helpful. He and the manager gave me the price I wanted to pay for a full size bookcase bed, dresser with mirror, nightstand and mattress. I signed all the paperwork and was out the door quickly. Feeling great I went home and read reviews of Ashley Furniture. I almost passed out because every review was negative. On January 11, 2014 a customer service representative called me and set up delivery for Tuesday January 14 between 8-12 I was skeptical and called the morning of Jan. 14 to confirm that my furniture was coming. She assured me it would. At 10 am the truck pulled in. The delivery men were courteous and efficient. They assembled the furniture, cleaned up the trash and were out the door with no damage to my home by 11 am. I am pleasantly surprised and will be happy to give a glowing review to Ashley for their sales team and delivery team. I will write again in a few months to remark about the quality of the furniture.

My pregnant wife and I purshased a bedroom set and a dinning table with chairs. We had a great talk with the sales person. I was a sales associate before so, I know they only need the sale. To make a long story short, were a military family ( the sales person knew that ) and we buy warranties because we travel all over the country. We got reassigned to Savannah, Ga. A few months later our footboard was damaged and we tried to use the warranty that we purchased for about $300. ASHLEY FURNITURE WILL NOT honor the warranty if you leave Maryland. The salesman didnt explain the warranty will not be honored if you leave the state ( the sales person knew we were military ). So if youre a militay family and are still relocating, dont purchase anything from the BELAIR ASHLEY FURNITURE store in MARYLAND. The sales persons are incompetent and the store manager is never taking calls or returning calls. TO ALL OF MY SERVICE AND SERVICE FAMILY MEMBERS , DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THE BELAIR ASHLEY FURNITURE. It maybe the only Ashley store in America that only warranty within Maryland. After the sale I became a phone #. If could give them a 0 star rating I would.

I have had mixed opinions of Bel Air Ashley. The guy who sold us the furniture was very helpful and easy going. However, we were expecting our furniture in a specific set of weeks and our furniture was not available until much later than we were initially told. They offered a credit to the account which they were able to add back onto our card over the phone. A while later, we decided we could no longer wait until the furniture came in as it was months after they told us it would be in, they couldnt refund us over the phone as they did a week earlier. They forced us to come into the store to receive the credit back to our account for the furniture they did not deliver. Now my wife is driving from Annapolis to Bel Air with our 2 week old and our 2 year old to get our money back because of their management (April I believe who I spoke with) who has no customer service and who couldnt help a returning customer out who has purchased thousands of dollars of merch from them. Why not credit back over the phone as done a week earlier?!!!! Done with Ashley, good luck with them if you choose their services and products.

February 16, 2012 I purchased a Durablend Black Reclining Sofa "ASH2370088" and Also purchased The Durablend Black Reclining Loveseat w/ console "ASH2370094" , and Purchased the 5-year Extended Warranty "877100025" . The seating surfaces on the couch are pealing off life like a person who had bad sunburn. The recliner is broke and had gouged my wood flooring badly. I called to file a claim "25643" and was informed these issues are not covered. I really loved the looks of the set and when told about the extended warranty I could get which would cover anything that could go wrong with it in the next five years I was sold! Now IM having these problems IM told oh well the warranty doesnt cover "DuraBlend" It also doesnt cover the reclining mechanisim. If it doenst cover the Durablend why was I sold the warranty? I was told this warranty covered everything. Now Im stuck with a Horrible looking piece of furniture, thats broke and has ruined my wood floor. BUYERS BEWARE!!!!!

We had ordered our couches towards the end of September expecting to get them in mid October. Got the phone call saying they were in and we could go pick them up. We get to the pick up location they unwrap one portion of the couch its fine, the love seat on the other hand was damaged the guy said well let me take it back to the shop. I get to thinking that they were missing a piece of the couch sure enough they were. The warehouse people didnt say anything until i did he pulled it up in the system and said oh its on back order the people up front didnt tell you? I said no no one said it was on back order. Guy comes out and says the love seat cant be fixed it wont be ready till the end of November. So i call the sales rep from this store and he says well what do you want me to do about it?? Worst customer service we ended up cancelling the order all together. All they kept offering us was the couch in a different color or we could look at something else.

Bought a new leather sofa and chair last year. Was told it would be in, in 4-8 weeks. It didnt get here for 3.5 months. Then I had an issue with 1/2 my soda leaning. I called numerous times and no one could be bothered. I finally went to thier Facebook page to complain. Someone got back with me right away but could only relay information from the local cs reps. I had a service guy come out to look at it on January 6th. (My husband asked if he knew how long it was going to take to get the part in and he said "Oh you have Ashley? its going to take forever. They suck.)I was called two days later saying they would have the part in 3-4 weeks. Its now Feb 24 and I called to find out where the part was. The service team told me that it hasnt even been shipped yet. Its coming from overseas and it takes forever. She told me to expect it in March. This company sucks. .

Update: Buyer Beware!!! Almost 20 days later - still no furniture as of today. Had an interaction with the most deplorable manager ever - Josh. How he has a job is beyond me. He lashed out at the salesman in front of us. Flat out lied about the matter, promised to email the warehouse and get back to us. Its a good thing I didnt hold my breath. Buyer Beware! Take your $$ elsewhere. Let me start by saying our salesman on 7/8/17, Richard, was exceptional! The challenge is the lackadaisical "service" or more aptly, the disservice department who keep changing the delivery date of the $8k worth of as is floor models we purchased. We were told delivery would be the following Friday 7/14. On 7/12 we were told 7/21. On a random stop-in this afternoon, were told the furniture wont get to the warehouse until 7/24 and they couldnt provide a delivery date.
