Whenever we go here, Loss Preventation is always watching us. It is a older woman with a ear piece in her ear. She has white hair. I confronted her one time before, but she still does it. She is just more sneaking about it now. They made a mistake before and stopped my wife at the door because she said she had a TV that she was stealing and she pass up all the cashiers. However, her mother was the one that brought the TV, my wife was behind her in line. Her mother was in front of her, so she left before my wife. My wife was the person pushing the cart. They stopped her at the door and told her she was going to be under arrested, she told them how her mother paid for it, they then told her that they were watching her the whole time and she did not go near any cashiers. After they really did review their tapes, they knew we had them by the tail and offered us gift cards. However, they still think we are going to take something, never have never will. Also, this store is always out of everything! No matter what I am looking for they seem to be always out it and no one in the store cares to help you. I am def not going to this Wal-Mart again. I will be going to the one in Wal-Mart for now on.

Their customer service leaves much to be desired. The lady at the desk was more interested in flirting with some guy. Than taking care of the ever growing line. But there was a nice lady that witnessed the dysfunction and worked on the line herself. Then another lady (That worked there) began to go on this rant about how we MUST respect her because of who she is. I swear all we asked was where something was. It got to the point that she was screaming so loud that a supervisor came over apologize for the entire incident and told the worker to leave. But the worker wasnt heeding the warning. She began to come back to continue the one-sided argument. I literally felt like someone was going to come out and say it was all a joke. When this all began with a question. So I really dont know how to rate this location. 2 people that seemed as though work is the last place they wanted to be. And another 2 picked up the slack and did their best to contain the damage that was done.

For being a smaller Walmart, they are always well-stocked as best they can be with the space they have. At checkout, they are always well-staffed so that I dont have to wait in line (like I do at the other local chain). I give it 5-stars because they are doing good things at this store. The ONLY fault I have with Walmart Carroll Island is that it IS small, and I wish it was a large, Super-Walmart. Our surrounding community is chock full of old and new homes, ranging from $60k to several million dollar properties that line our vast waterfront. Why we do not have a Super-Walmart down in our Carroll Island/Chase/Middle River area is a mystery to me.

This is the best Walmart in the area. The other locale is a Super Center that is, well, the only reason places like Walgreens and CVS in my area have such large business, is that the Walmarts around here absolutely suck. Where the Super Center nearby is ungodly with service, quality, wait times and staff helpfulness/cleanliness/responsibility; the Carroll Island Walmart is only slightly so. However the staff are incredibly rude, passive-aggressive and absolutely love taking their time to lecture customers on why their questions were stupid and just where the customer can put their shopping interest. Seriously, I cant believe how bad these are.

Worse store ever if you have a look on your face like you need something the staff run the other way, management are no where to be seen, there are more people walking around doing less then Ive ever seen. Nobody in this store little to no product knowledge on absolutely anything and they will constantly remind that the department they are in is not theirs one guy told me to go to best buys to get a tv he they specialize in Tvs lmao what a joke and a misappropriation of humans. Its so close is the only benefit.

The store is often a mess or out of items or doesnt stock as much as other locations so I thought I was saving myself a disappointing trip by calling ahead and seeing if they stock the item I was looking for. Of course the person who answered was extremely rude and was upset that she was even being asked. She put me on hold. Came back and raised her voice saying "WE DO NOT HAVE THAT PRODUCT!" and then immediately hung up on me. I am very polite on the phone unlike their employees. That was enough. Never again.

Customer service does not exist at this location. Do not bother asking for help or assistance because they will either have no idea what you are talking about or will let you know in their own special way that it is not their job to help you. The selection is very limited at this location for food, clothing and just about everything else. Highly recommend going to the Dundalk location over the Carroll Island location.

This Walmart is BY FAR SO SO BY FAR. LOL. THEY NEVER have the right amount of CASHIERS so the line is as LONG as A BLACK FRIDAY would be. Ive also argued with 1 of the older white cashier ladys. I was talking to my FIANCÉ and out of NOWHERE SHE FLIPS OUT so I had to PUT HER IN HER PLACE. I WASNT TALKING TO HER OR ABOUT HER BUT I GUESS ITS OKAY TO HAVE CASHIERS TREAT THE CUSTOMERS LIKE THEY TREAT THEY DOGS. BAD.

I just moved around this location and the main thing to stick out is that its smaller than the Wal-Mart I used to go to on Petrie Way. That being said, its a minor inconvenience that Ill no doubt get used to. The pharmacy is good, grocery section is good (albeit a little out of place from what Im used to, but Ill get used to that). All in all, a decent place.

When you get an oil change from these people, check the dipstick once you leave. They shorted me greater than 1 Quart of oil and make you look stupid. A mechanic who was shopping there saw the dipstick and he even said I was shorted quite a bit of oil. Guess these people want you to keep coming back every 3,000 miles by just giving you 50% of an oil change

Customer service and management sucks at this store. Its a wonder why they dont get as much business as the other local walmarts. Oh heck they dont even have correct prices for some of their items. This store might be less congested but for correct prices and a staff that isnt rude Id make the drive to golden ring or Dundalk.
