This is a review for the distribution warehouse. Not the retail stores. Horrible experience! Have delivered here twice in the last 2 months. They use a third party to handle receiving, Capstone Logistics. They charge driver/carrier to unload the product (lumper fees) $149 for one and $379 for the other. 5 to 6 hours to unload the truck both times. They do not allow trucks to remain on the property after the unloading is complete. Even if you run out of DOT hours. I do not recommend accepting loads going here unless you arrive with at least 8 hours available so that you can make it to a safe haven after they unload you. The Capstone ladies that run the office are nice and respectful. Just not in a hurry to get the load done. The gate officers on the otherhand are not as friendly. Associated Grocers nor Capstone care one bit about your hours of service or the fact time spent sitting can cost hundreds of dollars of lost revenue.

I live in Calgary, and was travelling through McBride last weekend. I needed to grab a few groceries to make dinner when I got home, and we decided to stop at AG Foods in McBride so we could stretch our legs. VERY IMPRESSED!! The produce and meat was fresh and great quality, and the buns tasted like they were fresh baked at home. I usually buy extra lean burger, but there was only lean burger so I bought a package of that. I honestly drained off less fat than I usually have to drain off of the extra lean prepackaged burger I buy at home. The staff was so friendly and helpful... THANK YOU for the great shopping experience :)

No matter which one you go to its going to take three to ten hours to get unloaded and they treat you like a no good truck driver at everyone. And they are barely capable of unloading a truck. Every single one of them have a smokeing area just outside the drivers enterance. Stinks like a sewer put it by the main enterance so you owners can smell it. We drivers are keeping America alive and get the dirty end of the stick. Especially at associated grocers. You suck.

Regardless of what they say on the phone, dont check in until 2 hours before your appointment time because thats the soonest theyll take you. I was told on the phone that I could arrive and unload at 6pm. But when I got to the gate I was told the earliest I would get called was 10pm for a midnight appointment.

Been over 4 hours now waiting to unload. No telling how much longer it will be. When theyre done they will be paid for unloading what they ordered... Very nice. Give someone something for free and that is exactly what they will think it is worth!

Receiving 1800-0600. You cannot arrive before 1800. They have a big gravel staging lot that you cannot park in after you are unloaded. They have a sign that says you MUST leave the property when empty, regardless of your DOT hours.

I say we start boycotting these places until they hire there own crew to unload these trucks. 150 - 200 bucks to unload is ridiculous. I dont see why we have to pay for their crap that they ordered.

Husband was there an hour before appointment time, out in about 2 hrs after that. Would be nice to have overnight parking there of some type.

They have a huge dirt parking lot for trucks but the rude security guards and gate guard yell at you for parking there. Absolute a-- holes
