I attempted to purchase a vehicle from Freeland which fell through following certainly poor and potentially unethical business practices by the dealership. I luckily did not give them any money but they ran a hard pull against my credit, which I would have not authorized had we not had a deal in writing (which they backed out of). I called about a new vehicle on the lot that was still new but two models old. The manager, offered a fair price on the vehicle without any negotiation or statement of price on my end. I said I would consider the price and vehicle. About 5 days later, they had a salesman call me back who asked me what it would take to get me to buy today and I said take another thousand off to which he quickly said, "done." Over the next week, I worked with the salesman and manager to set up the purchase from afar as I was not local to the area. They requested my pre-approval letter, which was approximately $5,000 higher than the purchase price and they ran my credit. They told me that the forms were on their way, provided a UPS tracking number and took a picture of the UPS envelope. 3-4 days later, the package still had not been picked up. I tried calling the salesman but was not getting return calls. Finally, I talked to the manager who told me, they werent going to do it because the owner decided the price was too low. I was then repeatedly offered the "opportunity" to buy the vehicle for $3-4 thousand higher than what was agreed upon and offered in the first place. I find it laughably convenient that the new selling price of the vehicle +tax basically matched the limit of my pre-approval letter. In my opinion, this "coincidence" that the owner wanted to sell it for my full pre-approval amount is predatory and unethical. I have opened a complaint with the Kentucky Consumer Protection division of the Attorney Generals office based on this potentially unethical dealing following numerous agreements by the dealership in writing. I would not recommend this dealership based on their unscrupulous dealings and predatory practices.

These guys are not professional at all. I was told the car I purchased has a 700$ exhaust system on it.. before I purchased he vehicle I checked there was no muffler on the vehicle so I was lied to. Also the sales man told me he was going to give me a good discount on the vehicle, he gave me no discount. The service by the techs in the back was redicilous it took them 7 hours to install a pass time device which should have only taken 1 1/2 hours to install thats what the book pays them to install it.. needless to say the pass time device wasnt installed correctly and I had to go pay for it to be reinstalled correctly.. mind you Im a mechanic myself but my bank wouldnt let me redo the installation myself. On top of waiting 7 hours to get my vehicle with a 700$ exhaust system on it I left that day without my speedometer working and I had to come back 3 days later when the tech who was working on my vehicle got back from some classes he had to go take. Another issue I ran into the same day I got the vehicle was that it had a fuel leak that they didnt bother telling me about. I would have been fine with the fuel leak as long as they told me about the fuel leak instead of me finding out about it while I was getting gas. Not only did they waste my time with a incompetent tech but they also put my life in danger with the leaking fuel which could have been avoided had they done there preowned inspection which all vehicles that are traded in to a dealership should get and the issue should be fixed before the vehicle is sold to another person. Ive also been waiting for my tags in the mail and my temp tags are expired and have been expired for 3 weeks now. Needless to say there service isnt very good and I dont recommend anybody buying a vehicle there at all.

The people at Freeland seem nice until you get the vehicle financed. The sales mgr Chris brought it upon himself to add an extended warranty to my loan, which he said was bumper to bumper, but it was just a power train warranty. He told me he couldnt do the deal unless the extended warranty was added...this is total bs and lies. The buyers order, or bill of sale as you may call it has multiple references to the state of Tennessee printed on it, uhhh, these people are in Kentucky...that is wrong. My contracts interest rate was higher than the states allowed max interest rate for a new vehicle purchase in Ky. Back to the extended warranty...It had a box checked for normal wear and tear, then in parentheses, it says not available in Kentucky...they were selling me something that was not even available. I will be sending this info to everyone I can for unethical business practices. Needless to say I took the vehicle back and will be pursuing all options available to me. STAY AWAY FROM THESE SCAMMERS,,, THEY WILL TELL YOU LIES AND RIP YOU OFF!!!

Do not buy from this place or get service from this place or buy a crappy Jeep(Fiat disguised as a Jeep). I was sold a warranty with my vehicle that was supposed to cover bumper to bumper over the 100K manufacturer warranty. I was NOT bumper to bumper. A small crappy plastic gear shift button that wasnt made to last broke off and they said that the entire gear shiftwould have to be replaced over a 50 cent plastic part. Typical European engineering. Not to mention the 45 minute oil change took 2 hours 15 min the an additional 15 min wait to pay for the oil change because they could get their systems straight. Stay away from this brand AND this dealership. If I had to sum it up, they are scatterbrained crooks that only care about their profit, not the customer. Jeep has gone downhill. If you end up buying here anyway, DO NOT GET THE EXTENDED WARRANTY. I wont be going here again for anything!

The worst place you could ever go to purchase a vehicle. They didnt register my car or place the title in my name for nearly 10 months and i had no idea until I was pulled over and wrote a ticket for expired tags. The new manager told me he would go to court with me and take care of this issue, but when i had my court date he never showed up. I had to take care of it all on my own. When I confronted him about it I was told to get off his "f**king lot" because he was getting angry for letting him know I was upset. I was made to feel like it was all my fault. They do not take care of their customers and they will find a way to make this the worst experience youve ever had buying a car. Please dont waste your time with this ridiculous car lot. The staff are a joke, none of them have any idea how to run a car lot and they DO NOT care about anyone.

Nick, Pat and Eric were amazing. Great team. Also, they saved me the most money and presented all options for financing. I went there with a USAA check to buy a new Ram at 3.99% and ended up getting 0% for 75 months and 4K in rebates. Sticker price was 51,900 and I paid 42,500 with 0% interest for 75 months. Thats unheard of. They take care of the customer first and foremost and will not feed you a bunch of BS about anything. Its a small dealership that has amazing connections to larger inventories, just in case they dont have what you want. Ask for Pat. Best dealership experience Ive had. If you are in the Clarksville area give these guys a call, you wont be sorry.
