****************UPDATE******************** So, the sales manager, Andrew, got in touch with me and immediately took charge of the situation. He talked to all parties involved to get to the root of everything and came up with a solution that I was satisfied with. He made sure the necessary parts got there the next day in order to complete the repair and was in constant communication with me the entire time. They also reimbursed me for my rental for the lost time that the car sat without work being started. The sales manager also made sure that I did not have to deal with the service manager whom I had previously hadissues dealing with. I am reassured that there is some good management at the dealership up top that us customer-driven. *********************************************** TOTALLY INCOMPETENT SERVICE DEPT AND SERVICE MANAGER. Car sat for 11 days with no work started and even NO PARTS ORDERED until I called to inquire about the progress nearly 2 weeks after the car was dropped off. The service manager is in way over his head in both managing a dept and dealing with people. He is better suited for the showroom floor with how condescending he is and how much of a liar he is. Even talked to the owner of the dealership about the situation and he apologized and assured us we would not be dealing with that service manager for the rest of the repair. Well, guess who we had to deal with for the rest of the repair? Yep, same service manager. Finally picked the car up and there were glaring oversights that the service dept tried to hide and conceal simply because they didnt want to have to deal with submitting additional repair orders to the adjuster. Safety concerns too. I am totally disgusted with the whole experience and should have gone with my gut instinct and taken my car elsewhere when the service manager flat out told me they hate dealing with insurance claims. My dad had his mazda millennia serviced there for 7 yrs, and I like trying to give business to our local small-town, family-owned businesses, but in this case, I will never be back. Nor will any friends or family I know.

Sales guy was great.... Finance guy was great.... Albeit the car was used its a 2010, it underwent their "reconditioning" and "inspection" process. After the papers were signed, thats where great went out the door. Less than 18 hours later, the car started having issues, contacted dealer, was told to call their service dept and theyd look into it. Called service dept, was told, "were not a gm dealer anymore, its under warranty, take it to them." Well, that was fine, its been to them,an actual dealer, I used the term actual dealer because Kennedy now reminds me of those buy here pay here junk lots you see on the side of Rt. 6 every once in awhile. Its been to the real "gm" dealer once a week, every week since we bought the car. All for stuff that we were told they went over during their "reconditioning" and "inspection" process. We have 2 more appointments scheduled for problems with the car and today we had another problem pop up, which will call for another service appointment. Only offer of help kennedy mazda has given, "its under warranty, take it to gm." Well, with that attitude, no wonder why the place has the same cars sit on their lot for weeks/months at time, no wonder gm pulled from them as they couldnt meet their quotas. Will I ever buy a car from them again? Definetly not, I tried to keep business local and go to a place for that "home town" feel. But, Ive learned my lesson, as have a few others that warned me of the place. Im going to a real dealership next time and when I go to purchase our mazda, it definetly will be at Art Hill and not at Kennedy.

I recently brought home my third consecutive vehicle from Kennedy, a 2016 CX-5. I not only love the car, I love the dealership. Bob has been our salesman from the beginning, and he has always been fantastic. Hes always so patient with me when Im indecisive about what I want, and is always very thorough in answering my questions and making sure that I fully understand all of my options so that I can make an educated decision. Andy has also been great in every purchase that weve made, making sure that we are happy with the outcome, and he goes above and beyond when it comes to customer service. Every time I return for service, everyone at Kennedy is friendly and not only follows up with me to make sure Im happy with my purchase, they even ask what is going on with me and how my family is. I highly recommend Kennedy if you want a nice car that you can be happy with for years, and great customer service every time you return.

After researching small SUVs, and test driving several competing vehicles, I test drove a CX-5 at Kennedy Mazda, Valparaiso, IN. I particularly liked the mom and pop feel of the dealership. Gerald and Andrew both explained the vehicles features and took me and my wife for our test drive. That was over a year ago and I am pleased to say that I have been extremely satisfied with my CX-5. I have taken this vehicle to Kennedy Mazda for all of its servicing needs. I found the service department to be knowledgeable and willing to go the extra mile to make me satisfied. When I had questions about the tech gadgets and their workings, all I had to do was call or e-mail Andrew and he responded promptly to guide me through so that I would be able to use them properly. I will continue to have my Mazda serviced there and will purchase other vehicles there in the future. Thank You Kennedy Mazda!

We had probably the best car buying experience weve ever had at Kennedy Mazda. Our salesman Ryan was very friendly, never pushy, and was very knowledgeable about the product. Even when we left (after spending over an hour with him and told him we needed to think about it) he was gracious. When we returned later that night to make our purchase we again had a fantastic experience. They did not have the color we wanted on the lot so the next business day the manager, Andrew, went above and beyond to find exactly what we wanted from another dealership and rushed to get it for us. We were expecting to wait 2-3 days to get our new vehicle but Andrew managed to get it to us that night! They stayed late to clean up the car and process the paperwork! They provided excellent customer service and went above and beyond what we would ever expect.

I recently purchased a used car from Kennedy Mazda. I already have a Mazda3 and a Mazda6 that I also purchased from Kennedy. They knew I was in the market for a specialty car and as soon as one became available, I was contacted. When the first one they contacted me about was not exactly what I was looking for, the minute another became available, they notified me and within one week, I drove it home. Everyone I dealt with was extremely personable and professional. I was treated extremely well. The price was very competitive. When it came time for the closing, everything was ready when I walked in. I signed the papers and drove away in my "new" car! The next time I am in need of an automobile, I will be checking Kennedy Mazda first! Thanks, guys!!!
