I had an EXTREMELY HORRIBLE experience here! As my boyfriend and I are walking a man that worked at a Sprint booth yelled at us and made fun of my boyfriends shirt. He then introduced himself as Joe the manager of the Sprint at St. Matthews Mall. He asked us what phones we had and when I said what kind I had he THREW MY PHONE INTO A TABLE THAT WAS AT LEAST 5 FEET AWAY!!! I was in shock. I had never been treated that blatantly rude before in a mall. Joe continued to tell me my phone was "crap" as I went to pick it up. I walked away and stood far away to wait for my boyfriend who was still being harassed by Joe. The other Sprint employees stood and laughed at me like it was all a joke which was extremely immature and rude. Finally my boyfriend got away from him and we went to the management office to tell them what happened. The lady at the front desk gave me a form to fill out about my complaint because the management was busy. After I turned the form in I asked her if I could come back in 20 minutes to talk to someone. She said ok so I returned in exactly 20 minutes to find the office closed for the day. I talked to mall security about what happened and they said theyll pass it on. I got the management offices number and called the next day to be put to voicemail. I left my name and number and never received a call back. The mall its self was fine but the disrespect I experienced from that employee was not ok and its bad on their part to never respond to my calls or let me know their office was closing. Were from out of town and this was our first time at st. Matthews and due to the degree of disrespect it is not worth the two hour drive.

I love St. Matts and oxmoor mall but These malls are going to take a serious hit with their new "rule" about minors having to be accompanied with a parent or gaurdian. Its absolutely ridiculous that I, a 23 year old got stopped 4 times about being a minor. Im sorry but coming to the mall with a friend (who is also 23) being no where near the age of a delinquent and being stopped multiple times is uncalled for... No, I dont want a damn wrist band.. What I want is for security to use their brain and logically stop minors. Actual Preteens are walking around freely WITHOUT a wristband not being stopped . Whats up with that? Long story short, the malls need to get that system together becasue there are several flaws within it. Shouldnt the security be outside the mall? Seems kind of redundant to let folks in the mall just stop them multiple times or tell them they need to leave .... Check EVERYONES ID outside.. That way no ones getting in without being carded . Discriminating on young ADULTS is silly, may as well play it fair across the board.

They have great shops and food courts and all but the security sucks. Ive seen a lot of black people being stopped to make sure theyre not ghetto which is extremely racist. I also have one thing to say about their security and minors. Im pretty sure if a minor was to walk over in the food court and ask for ketchup as their guardian waits at the table 2 feet away they dont need to be stopped and kicked out. I am pretty sure people 13+ can walk around the mall and not loose anyone considering the technology today and parents being protective. Literally I am 13 and I got stopped to go walk over to Hot Topic while my mom was at the store right next to it and they accused me of being 8. I was highly offended and I do not recommend going to this mall unless it has a store that you cant find anywhere else but here. If you do decide to go DO NOT BRING YOUR CHILDREN! They have kicked my friends mom and her out of the store accusing my friends mom that she is under 18. Very stupid security.

Me and my girlfriend used to love shopping at this mall. Until this last Saturday we went to do some shopping and a police office and mall security guard came up to me and asked me to remove my firearm from the mall. I am a law abiding citizen. I have had my carry permit since I was aloud to get one. My whole family are also concealed carry permit holders and active shooters. I politely told the officer I would rather just find another place to do all of my shopping rather than not be able to protect myself and my family. As for the the mall they have lost all of my families business, because we will not return because of this new regulation. Thank you for reading. Its nothing personal with the police officer I spoke with or the security gaurd. I just do not feel comfortable and safe not being able to protect my family and myself.

Being Louisvilles most popular mall for the young crowd there are a lot of opportunities here for you to get a great deal however the people with the kiosk in the center of the aisles just do not understand the word no from news reports and new regulations put in by the city of St Matthews Jefferson County District Attorneys office parents must remain with their children at all times because late 2016 there was an excessive amount of kids will visit this school that will take a bus from the really bad in a town two Listen to Pound The Hangout theres been shooting stabbings that is a common thing do not leave anything valuable in the vehicle do not under any circumstances and I beg of all people reading it do not show any cash at all around NE young people you will be harassed and preyed upon

Great nostalgic place to shop in a cozy indoor almost tropical environment But they need a new computerized synchronized, water fountain with a high shooting center colored light spray effect. Back in the 1960s the Mall had a cozier bench waiting with a Limeorstone boulder water pond/ lagoon that had Palm trees around it. It created a Waikiki Beach, Honolulu, Hawaii romantic or tropic Isle effect with the sea breeze and swaying palm trees illusion from the Southern Pacific Ocean and like the shopping areas around Waikikis Hotels. Oh it gave me a since of joy, and happiness like when I was a child shopping with my parents. It made me dream of a great life to come as a grownup. A sort of escape to Paradise.

Definitely the most "hip" mall in town. The mall features higher-end clothing stores for young adults. Overall, there is a good mix of stores, anchors, and a good selection of food choices. This mall can get crowded... it seems to be doing very well. The mall, IMO, is unattractive on the outside. It is somewhat convoluted with various wings added on over the years. Once inside though, I love the style/decor... not sure how I would describe it. It is well lit during the day, then, and the evening, the sun goes down and the teens come out to play. The lighting is low which shows off artistic lighting fixtures beaming with various colored mood lighting. Its a cool mall. I always enjoy a visit.
