Best Shoe Selection In Louisville Area in my opinion if youre looking for Jordans, and Nikes and other tennis shoes. Always have the newest releases and constantly releasing new shoes pretty often. Great selection of UK AND UL team sports apparel if youre a local sports fan best place for the prices for your favorite teams gear. Even get a Tattoo while youre shopping, not sure about their artists but just an example of the wide variety of options here. Mall targets the younger "hip-hop" culture mainly in my opinion, still have nice stores if u need a suit and tie and dressy type clothing such as Macys, JC Penny and couple other high end clothing stores, Tuxedo rentals and prom dress rentals available as well. Very good for wide range of options for every age and style, like I said mainly targets teenage to 20s age group but still has at least 1 or more options for any style and age I can think of at least, also high class HIGH price stores, and LOW PRICE BARGAIN shopping as well Like PayLess Shoes. Middle of Mall has a lot of little booth type stores wouldnt recommend getting the phone cases unless u have certain phones like the newest I Phone or Galaxies. Other cases very small selection if they even have any At all and they will break the first time u try to take it off the phone, One sells Brand Name AUTHENTIC COLOGNES AND PERFUMES and phone cases and I just got a 50-60 dollar bottle of Curve For Men for $40 and she marked that down to $35. NOT THE IMITATION "OUR VERSION OF CURVE" AUTHENTIC curve in case and all, thought that was great buy considering The Macys 1 MIN away sells the same bottle for close to double the price. Couple nice Jewelry stores Kay, Zales, if u need a ring to pop the question. Book store Music and Movie store Sears super store with everything from Riding Mowers and vehicle services to clothing and home goods. Only a couple downfalls I can think of in my own opinion would be the food court selection, not a wide variety and not the greatest places in the few u have to choose from, they have made it nicer and much larger the last couple years though. The Chinese Food closest to the exit is by far the best selection, and very cheap, ALWAYS order to go even if u plan on sitting down and eating the servings are MUCH MUCH larger that way, I get two different meals that way. You wont miss it either cause the "sample sample" lady as she is called in Louisville will stick a sample on a toothpick and scream "SAMPLE SAMPLE" if u come close to it, dead serious, she even has her own FB page created by someone other than herself called The Sample Sample Lady at Jefferson Mall, she is famous in Louisville for that, but really if u enjoy Chinese get that one the other one is higher and not nearly as good. Mall is kinda small, not tiny by no means, but not largest mall either, also has began to be known for teens and young adults using the mall for their personal hang out, and shoplifting, stealing from customers inside and in the parking lot, but ur safe and kids are safe too Security is constantly riding around outside and they will harass the hang outters and make them leave if they re loitering too long, LOSS prevention in stores stepped up BIG time lately thwarting shoplifters attempts, just make sure u lock ur doors, and keep purses and belongings close to your personal space and dont give them an easy opportunity, not strong arm or armed robberies Ive heard of in a long time since they have established A SOLID Security team outside to prevent it. Of course if youre way too HIGH CLASS and scared and all that there is another Mall in the East end of Louisville called St Matthews and Another called Oxmoor virtually right next door to one another. Very wealthy end of the City and 360° different from Jefferson Mall, way bigger and targets the high class people.

Good: Typical, but decent mix of stores. Ive been to other malls that maybe had too many of one type of store. Though clothing and shoes seem to dominate here, I still feel it is a good mix. As of this writing, the mall is up to date as far as decor and remodeling goes... looks good. Food court is decent... offers enough choices that should please anyone. A nice play area for kids was recently added. Im not fond of its placement in the middle of the main corridor, but it has a low profile and the colors are good.... it blends pretty well. It has plenty of things for kids to climb on and a large, padded, bench seat for the parents circling the entire area. Bad: The Old Navy store is only accessible from the outside of the mall. While I do like and use this entrance, Im not sure why an interior entrance was not incorporated into the design. Its annoying, on a cold or rainy day, to have to run through the elements to get to the store. Of course, the mall not be to blame for this design. Overall, it is a great mall and it is the anchor of Louisvilles shopping district along the Outer Loop corridor.

I gave them a 3 star because of the good priced Chinese food(lots, too)& prices in the stores not too bad. The service (in the shops) was a different story, they take your money and barely say thank you-if at all, and some of the shoppers were rude as well. I was ready to leave when a security guard told a gentleman-just sitting, he had to move along! He told him he was waiting for someone, and the guard told him he still had to move!! I believe its insulting rudeness like this that provoke some people to come back and take revenge on everyone in sight! The man was neatly dressed and not bothering anyone, he was also a Black man, the guard was not. If that had something to do with his motive I dont know. The gentleman moved without incident. I was offended for him. At my home state Ohio, people ( All) hang at the malls, without being hassled, as it should be. I wont return there for anything!

I really hate not liking this mall, but this is basically a place for parents to drop off teenagers and let them run wild. Yesterday I witnessed 3 teenage girls stealing from a kiosk and told the employee. They said, "Theres nothing I can do. I dont even know securitys number." The Dead Sea skin care people are insufferably annoying. They will drive you nuts and not leave you alone. Even when you try to walk away they yell things at you. That kiosk is enough for me to never go to that wing of the mall. Missing out on journeys, hot topic, the ornament shop, jc pennys.

Its a decent mall for the most part but the ghetto clientele are the main problem here. Go there on a Saturday night and you have people hanging around everywhere buying nothing and making fools of themselves. This is where mall security needs to start cleaning out the trash. Too many people just go there to stand around and dropping F bombs and cussing every other word. If anything, they need to clean up their clientele and discourage these losers from coming. Because they are running the decent shoppers off. Its a place to buy stuff not hang out with your buddies.
