Good: This mall is kept alive by a few solid anchor stores and a couple of casual restaurants that appear to be doing excellent. This mall is easily accessible (not to congested driving in or out) and the exterior is attractive. Bad: I dont think anyone could walk through this mall without wondering how it is staying alive. Occupancy is terrible and it really creates bad vibes. Unlike the exterior, the interior is very dated. Currently, this is a mall to get in and get out of once you have what you need. It may have exactly what you need, but this is not a place to hang out or consider as a shopping destination to spend the afternoon.

This place has been going down hill for many years now. They cant keep stores in this place. Most places seem to leave after about a year. Too bad. We used to always go here when I was a kid. Had plenty of stores. I do like when They have all the campers set up inside the mall. Gives you something else to look at.

the only stores that have been able to stay here longer than a year are jc pennys and elder beerman, which despite its awesome name is not an awesome store... However, it gets a star for housing two delicious eateries: riviera maya and mark pis, and for the fact that it has one of the last kmarts left in existence.

This is one of the crappiest malls in Indiana. The only store I recommend is JCPenney and it isnt even that great. Dont waste your time coming here, go to the Greenwood Park Mall. This mall doesnt have Hot Topic or a Spencers and those are the only stores I go to. In my opinion it is really bad

While this mall has several empty stores, the restaurants here are great; Riviera Maya, Mark Pis, even Carlos Pizza is a great quick-stop. Youll find a Payless Shoes, a Claires, a JC Penney, and a Dunhams Sports among others. This mall is a magnet for mall walkers, and the bathrooms are clean.

Some of the stores that are open are ok. However, this mall is a morgue these days. Seems that bad management has ruined this once fine mall that had 90 to 95 percent of its space filled. Now its down to maybe 35 or 40 percent. They need to replace the idiots running this place.

Unfortunately, not too many stores remain in FairOaks Mall. However, there are still a few good restaurants, including Mark Pis and Riviera Maya, and Carsons, Bath & Body Works, and Dunhams. Best of all, theres the Harlequin Theatre for live music, comedy shows, and plays.

Pretty sad to see how it looks now. Great restaurants connected to the mall still, but overall selection of stores is pretty bad. I think theres three shoe stores, a lingerie store, JC Penneys, and Carsons. Go here if you have to, if not keep on driving to Edinburgh.

It was the place to be about 12 years ago, but now its just falling apart quickly. Not too much to do, vacant stores, somewhat decent small stands in the hallway selling phone cases, food, sunglasses, etc. I really miss this place when I would visit in its prime.

Most shops in this mall are literally closed. You would hardly see people in the mall. It kinda looks old. It could dull your spirit if you take your time coming to this mall. I would not even call this a mall. Maybe a complex

Although there is more empty storefronts than occupied ones, the stores that are there are kept clean with fairly nice staff. The mall itself is kept clean for the most part. Just wish more businesses would move into there.

Most of the shops here are closed or closing.. Not much crowd here and not an happening place. Good events like farmers market and all. Some good restaurants like Riviera Maya (Mexican) and MarkPi (Chinese). Overall good.

Fairoaks is losing a lot of stores, clean, staff isnt always the friendliest but if you have to go to J.C. Pennys or few other stores such as shoes or a sports store this is the place, the rest have moved out!

Wide selection of stores that are clean and make you feel safe because there is realistic looking police walking around not the fake looking mall cops! Sorry to offend anyone but its the truth

Its just not that great if youre looking for a shopping mall. Theres an awesome sporting goods store. And of course, everyone in town loves Mark Pis authentic Chinese restaurant.

We have fun when we go, but I wish there were more shops filling the vacant spaces. This mall was once a very happening establishment. Now, it seems desolate.

This mall has stores that fit all ages. It is one of the only malls thatt have a Nirvana which is awesome. The mall is super clean which is nice.

Very well kept up for being so very empty. The big corner stores must keep this running, there are only a couple stores within the mall itself.

Is this still here? I remember fairoaks was hopping when I was a kid, but more or less its a ghost town (besides the dreaded mall walkers).

More and more stores disappearing. Not sure how they can stay open. Hope they can reinvent themselves because its a pretty nice facility.

This mall is dying fast. Bath and body works is the only store I like to go visit. Its good for walking when its raining outside.

There are a few stores worth visiting like the Mexican restaurant and shoe sensation, but otherwise not a lot happening here.

Its one of the worst malls I have ever seen, its so empty inside, only a couple of open and old stores and a few restaurants.

This poor mall is so depressing and nearly dead. I wish we could bring in some stores that would bring it back to life.
JI

70% of the mall is not occupied. Dunhams and Carsons are good places to shop. The JC Penney is small and overcrowded.
ER

Hosts an indoor farmers market during the winter. A shell of the shopping mall it once was. Good for mall walkers.

It really is a pitiful excuse for a mall. Once upon a time it was alright, but most of the stores have moved out.

A dying mall. Other than Carsons on one end and Dunhams sporting goods on the other end, not much to offer.

Mostly abandoned. Ghost mall. The Apocalypse of Brick and Mortar shopping malls is here and now.

Not many stores here anymore but they have some food options and a nice sporting goods store.

Not too many stores left in the mall. Usually pretty desolate place besides the restaurants.
