Another once successful mall that fell victim, to Teenage and adult Thugs, the mall reflects the area around it, vulneralble to the same social degenerates that DESTROYED the entire Lafayette Square, 38th street parralel all the way to Butler. The malls a relic, of a better time in our society, not influenced by crime and the uneducated. The mall and 90% of the businesses that occupied the area LEFT because of the decline of property values and reasons mentioned above. Your church leaders cant help the situation that is going on with Indianapolis, this mall is a perfect example. the mall is only 29% occupied, but the thugs, the uneducated, still seem to find reasons to leave their cancer. I guess they cant have nothing nice...... Me and 90% of Indianapolis wouldnt give the review of a 1 star if we had this option.

A once blossoming shopping center full of life. I wouldnt call it dark and dingy, its simply dated and lacking investment dollars for a much needed facelift. National retailers are mostly gone. You have a variety of not quite peddlers mall but not quite fashion forward either. Theres one shop that sells high end jeans thats worth checking out. Target, Burlington, and BW3s are probably the most recognized names. I dont think the arcades are even open anymore. What some say is dark is because there are many vacant windows so of course they are saving money but its safe as any middle America mall.

I go to the target there its decent, its the closest to my house, I have 3 small kids and I decided to venture out into the mall part and it was a Friday afternoon and it was pretty empty, the childrens play area was old and dingy, every one was just staring at us, it did feel scary! I did hear there is a cool native American store my husband went to one time but he was alone. I WOULD NOT re commend if you are trying to have fun shopping with kids is not a good place for families. Its dark and dingy all the workers there looked like they wanted to go home. ON A FRIDAY night!

So sad. At a different mall across town, a store owner told me the bank foreclosed on the owner of Washington Square Mall for default of payment. A store owner here said the mall never gets busy. Never. You can buy things here. There are some normal stores, but a lot of the stores are the kind where some bonehead decided they could buy cheap Chinese crap no one wants and sell it for premium prices without anyone knowing it. That might work if people had better stores to shop in too. If a building could have depression, then this Mall has Chronic Severe Major Depression.

This place is a dump! The entire building looks run down. Only a few stores left inside. Most of which are stores you wouldnt want to shop in anyway. The place just feels and looks dirty. Not sure how safe the area is either as there are full time police officers stationed outside. No plans on going back to this place. The property owner needs to put a lot of money back into this mall to bring it back up to speed. Not sure if that would even help though because it is not in a very good area. Dont waste your time or money going to this mall.

The most dirtiest unsanitary ghetto unpleasant flea market I have ever been to but hey if you want fake gold jewelry and your hair doll done thats the place for you but they have nothing to offer there the ball is always dead theres no one there to clean the kid area play area is always dirty and covered in trash Washington Square Mall needs to be closed or it needs to be remodeled its bad that the community cant take care of what we have but when you make the rent cheap in a community you get cheap people

I am so mad over the condition of the mall and its parking lot. Flower pots with weeds growing cracked up pot hold parking lot and shops at a minimum. There is a large number of good people that are willing to spend money on the east side if we have choices made available to us. When the mall was full of stars they did not offer much for us to pick from and they drove themselves out. The city needs to do something about this eyesore and help the Eastside stay a thriving community

The store selection currently available at this mall is pitiful to say the least. This mall is more reminiscent of a large convenient store then the mega store it should be. Even if the store you are looking for is present in this mall, expect a water downed version. To sum it up if you want variety and or a wide selection dont bother going to this mall. However, if you know what you are looking for is at this location then by all means this mall will suite you just fine.

The shops are slimming and the care of the location is absolutely going down hill. Burlington and target are the only reasons Ill go here anymore. The Buffalo Wild wings here is very poorly ran but the bartending staff on superbowl Sunday was ABSOLUTELY IMMACULATE. I have never had a better bartender and sitting at the bar on superbowl Sunday 2017 was amazing thanks to the man behind the bar. He is the only reason I give this place 3 stars.

This mall used to be nice back in the 80s and early 90s. It started going downhill after the late 90s with the anchor stores closing down. The surrounding Eastside area is no better which is trashy and desolate. Target and the movie theater are the reasons to visit the mall. Or should I say Target since the movie theater was rumored to have bed bugs and had to briefly close down. Ouch!

This place was dying when we lived in the area 8 years ago, I have no idea how these businesses are still making money. Ive only gone in there maybe 3ish times a year the last 5 years and it is D.E.A.D every time Ive gone. Its a sight to see another customer walking the halls with you. If you like a less crowded mall experience, this is definitely the place for you.

Everything is closed down. Only stores open are Victoria Secret, Bath & Body Works, FootAction and a bunch of Ranchero style Mexican stores, and a hair braiding nail salon. This mall died long ago and is only good to use if you want to walk for exercise. If more department stores would come back, it could be a great mall again... otherwise, dont waste your time

This mall has gone so far downhill since I was a child. I dont know if you can even call it a mall anymore. They do have decent trick or treating, if the weather is bad. But the stops can be pretty far apart, and they do give out mostly cheap candy, but Im sure they get a lot of kids. The Target and the movie theater are really the best reasons to visit.

Each year, more high quality stores leave this area, leaving only dollar store type shopping options and shoe stores. The quality of workers also reflect the kind of shops avaliable. The options are few for eating and shopping. The building inside and out needs repairs and updating. I foresee this mall being closed down very soon as well.
