Great parking for the area. I like the face lift. I just wish they had some better shops. Its mostly second hand shops the public library a dollar store and a really nice value market that has unique stock to cater to the hipster market for this area. The comedy caravan and back door are also great. The baxter avenue theater has great indie selections you wont find at a lot of other theaters. But instead of misc office space I wish there was a GameStop/FYE/Spencers/Hot Topic or more modern retail stores. This whole road is awash with second hand stores. It needs some retail chain staples.

Mid-City Mall...it is what it is, the library is nice even though I find it extremely depressing that they merged two perfectly lovely dedicated historic libraries and sold the property, then relocated the combined branches in a decrepit struggling yet unique old mall. The movie theater is ok, it used to be better but it is proximate to The Back Door which is handy for drinks. ValuMarket is putting up a valiant effort and Nearly New is still there I think. Its a fugly little place, it has been the past 40 years, probably longer.

The Mid City mall is a landmark in the Highlands. Its not for someone who is looking for an outlet mall type of thing. Its for hard working people who LOVE to live the simple life and enjoy laughing and spending time with friends and family whenever possible. The Mid City mall offers the venues that provide these amenities AND its all at an affordable price. Stop by and see it for yourself, words cant describe this type of beauty and the sense of community that comes from this place.

I feel like if they were more selective with who they let rent there. The demographics of the people who go there is so diverse that they have a hard time getting people to spend more money. For example if they focused on having entertainment type renters could make it a go to place in louisville. They already have a movie theater, a comedy club, and some local shopping but i think the family dollar lowers the class and the doctors office throws me off.

This is a ok place but when that did the remodel that removed tables and chairs that had been there for years I used to get sushi and a drink sit and eat my lunch and listen to the older folks talk about the past now theres no place to relax and mingle and last time I was there some guy hastled me for sitting on the steps to eat lunch guess I wont be getting lunch there again worst thing that ever did removing the tables and chairs

They remodeled this mall it looks fine but they used to have tables and chairs for people to sit and talk or eat lunch by value market i used to get sushi and a drink sit and listen to the older folk talk about stuff those are gone now when i get sushi now i gotta sit on the steps going down to the thrift store it sucks worst thibg they ever did takeing those tables

To much went on in here, from walk-ins coming before me too nails being horribly put on wrong. Wrong size wrong fit, dried up acrylic billed up left under my nails. And its not just I knew it was there other people noticed it right away as well. This use to be the only place I would go for my mani-pedi but I will never go again!!!

The owner is disliked by even her tenants. She had a private company tow away cars .....from people who even use the stores in this mall. Go here fully warned. If you take one step off property out will cost you $180. I bring a meetup group to the movie every week and one of my members suffered this.

I have had very positive experiences at Shelby branch library and the Baxter theater I have had some less than adequate customer service from value market and the family dollar can be hit or miss at times but I luv tf out dunkin donuts frfr

Always clean and well cared for. Original indoor Mall in Louisville so it has some age behind it but still in great shape. Has a Norton doctors office, public library branch, gym bar, restaurants, and grocery.
