I was highly disappointed to say the least.!! I walked in at a time it shows on their website they arent "usually busy". When I walked in I noticed two sales associates at the desk that didnt speak. I was on the phone and started looking around. As I ended my call I went to the desk and one of the sales associates made eye contact with me. I said hello and she took a drink of her soda and walked away to help someone else. The other lady at the desk was on a call but said she would be right with me. She seemed busy with her call so I walked away and noticed a male associate and he didnt say anything to me either. I walked through the store to find the lady that ignored me and she made eye contact with me for the second time as I said hello and she didnt say a word!! Finally, the lady that was on the phone came and asked did I have any questions and I asked for the manager. She stated the manager wasnt in today. What manger during daytime isnt available in a furniture store?? I explained that no one acknowledged me as I was rudely interrupted by her stating I was on the phone and they have been very busy....They wasnt busy at all when I was there and furthermore there were two sales associates that didnt acknowledge that I was in the store. Not to mention one of them ignored me twice! She asked to give me a discount on my purchase but I was so disappointed I just wanted to leave. Her attitude was poor as well. As a designer and being in sales Ive never walked in a store and was treated that way. Ive seen their furniture at the Homearamas in Louisville and wanted to stop in for clients and myself. Burdorf has really nice furniture but poor customer service! Considering most sales associates and interior designers are compensated through sales you would think they would be friendly being in that line of work. Busy isnt an excuse to not acknowledge or speak to a customer. I wont be shopping there again.
