I wish I could do less than 1 star. I purchased a Tag Heuer watch here for my husband as a wedding gift. It was not cheap. We were going back and forth between a couple different watches. The sales person (Some guy cant remember his name unfortunately) said that due to my husbands profession (he is a mechanic at a dealership) he should go with the Tag watch I ended up purchasing. The sales person exact words were this watch is indestructible and would be just fine to wear to work everyday. So with that being said he wore it to wear everyday. Well a little over 1.5 years later the hands on the time piece fall off. Well I am aware that Tag offers a 2 year warranty. So we take the watch back to Jared and they send it off. Tag says that they will not cover it under warranty due to the fact the time piece has "shock". So they want to charge me $650ish and I said no way. I explained to them what their employee told me when I purchased it and they just dont care. I called Tag themselves and explained to them the situation. Well then Tag explained to me that working on cars can cause shock to this watch that it is not indestructible. So I ended up getting the cost down from Tag to about $400.00 but then I wanted the Jared store to split this cost with me. And the lady was extremely rude to me saying that its my responsibility to pay this not theirs. I told them to go ahead and repair the watch but in the meantime I am going to try to find a way to have Jared pay for this. I was mislead when I purchased this time piece. I was willing to split the cost 50/50 with them now I am going to find a way to get in touch with someone and try to get them to pay 100% of this. This has also gone on way too long we dropped the time piece off on 07/20/16 and I am always the one to initiate the calls to Jared. THEY JUST DON"T CARE!! They will tell you whatever you want to hear so that they make a sale. This is by far the worse experience I have ever had with a jeweler. And to think I have made quite a few purchases here I will never again. I have purchased 2 Tag time pieces and our wedding rings. I have spent quite a bit of money here and this is how they want to treat a good customer. Well I am going to spread the word on how HORRIBLE this place really is.

The sales reps (including the store manager and the assitant store manager) know nothing about the products that they are selling and they know nothing about their vendors. My fiance had went into the store to pick out a ring. When selecting a ring, they told him that it could be resized if he picked one that was a couple of thousand dollars more then what he had picked out at first. He picked the ring that they were suggesting and took it home. After giving me the ring, we went in to get the ring resized. They told us that the ring could not be resized. They said they could order a new ring and that once it came in, they would call us. They said it would be in by December 10th. We followed up with them three times inbetween October 11th and December 10th, they kept telling us the ring was not in yet. On December 10th, we went to the store and they said that the ring had been lost somewhere inbetween the corporate office, the vendor and the store. They assured us that they would find the ring. We followed up with three more calls into the store and still the store did not have any leads to where the ring was. I went in with my fiance again on the 18th and still no ring, infact, the store didnt even have a shipping number for the ring. We got married on the 20th of December with no ring. We went back on 12/29/14 to get any type of update. The manager and the employees kept telling us they didnt know where the ring was and that we didnt have a right to argue with them. Two hours after we left, the store called and said they had "found" the ring. We went and picked it up. After we had gotten home, upon further inspection, two of the diamonds had not been set in their sockets on the top of the ring. We called corporate and the store yet again. I went to the store and the manager said she could see something wrong with the ring, but they couldnt give our money back. They said that they could send the ring to be repaired for 4 - 6 weeks. They took our money, and nothing we can do about it.

The absolutely worst store experience I had in my life. 1. On my husband’s and my first visit to Jared, the sales reps talked us into putting a hold on a diamond because “the diamond will be sold soon” unless we reserve it. We picked up the diamond after 2 ½ weeks. When asked for the return policy, they said “within 30 days of wearing the diamond”. We wanted to return the diamond after 2 weeks. However, they refused to refund because they count the reservation period toward the 30 days. 2. We were in process of customizing a ring setting and had the wax figure made. After shopping around we decided to not go ahead and make the setting. We were told that if we don’t go ahead and make it, we would have to pay $700 for the wax figure. They did not tell us this initially. 3. We designed the setting and paid in full in 2014, but due to circumstances did not have the setting made until 2015. Jared charged us an additional $1250 due to “price increase of diamond and gold”. That’s a 50% increase of the initial $2500 price! We didn’t know diamond and gold price increased that much in a year. In conclusion, Jared tricked us out of 17K. Jared will always make themselves the winner, the customers the loser, and will do anything to get more money. We learned our lesson and will not purchase anything else from Jared. My advice to you, please learn all the fine prints and do your research before paying anything. Don’t pay easily unless you are sure it is what you want. Note on customer service: The employees are in general decently polite, except the sales reps are dishonest and will exaggerate the product quality without mentioning the flaws. The store manager Michael is very rude and not knowledgeable. When asked about the wax figure fine, he told us to come back in 3 days to find out.

AWESOME selection of jewelry and watches and I was impressed because they have a shop right there in the store for repair work (you can even watch them work on the jewelry). I had three rings that needed sizing and one with a loose diamond and they did all of it in a few hours! They looked great when I got them back, like new. I decided to browse while my rings were being worked on and ended up buying a watch for myself. The guy I worked with knew more about watches than I expected (Im a watch guy) and I feel like he gave me an honest opinion on the brand and the price. I was thinking about proposing to my gf and had a few questions about diamonds (Im very uninformed when it comes to that stuff) and he took the time to give me an education and covered all the payment plans they have with me even though I told him I wasnt buying that day. I should have AVOIDED ALL OF THE MALL TRAFFIC and went there first! Will definitely be going back!
