This is my 1st ever review and I hate I have to do this but I dont know know what Id do if I didnt warn other people before using this atrocity of a "business". These people had my laptop for over a month without returning calls, etc. I should have learned the first time when over a year ago I had a nightmare experience. This final screw job however, was the final straw. The Place may have been in business 12 years but that doesnt mean what they practice is good business. I am still baffled at the service in which my family and I received. I recommend "The Place" to absolutely no one no matter the technical emergency you have. I wouldnt park in one of their parking spots much less give them any additional products to work on. If your in Bowling Green, make the 45 min trek to Nashville. Trust me, you will be glad you did! I genuinely wanted to like this place so much. Local, on the square. Do NOT be fooled.

Very unprofessional and unapologetic. The Place took 3 weeks to fix my computer. They WILL NOT answer the phone, and they DO NOT open the doors on time. I had to call several times to get them to even give me an estimate before they fixed my computer. I had to call several times to get a date as to when it would be fixed ( all of these calls went to voicemail, and my messages had to be returned). I also went to pick it up during regular business hours and the doors were locked but there was someone in the store. I called repeatedly, but of course, no one answered the phone. When I drove back to double check to see if the doors were open they were. I picked up my computer, no one apologized and to top it off, they gave me the wrong charging cord! After I get the right cord I will NEVER do business with them again.

My Fiance was having a problem with his Macbook Pro, he took it to them to see if they could do anything. Well, they took it and said that it would call us when they figured out the problem. They called and said it was the hard drive. They called again the next day and said it was also the cord. They lied, and werent honest in the first place. Then when they ordered the parts, they didnt order all of them. They are dishonest and unprofessional. They gave us a macbook air to use in the meantime. One big problem, when we tried to access documents off of an external hard drive, we couldnt because they guy had it password protected. So, we cant do ANYTHING. I would not recommend this place to anyone with apple products. I would say, go to Nashville and talk to people who know what they are talking about.

Supporting local small businesses is something that is important to my wife and I. We went to The Place to find ram for an older Apple Ibook, and stood at the front for a few minutes before being noticed. The younger employee that noticed us was initially helpful. While the younger employee was helping us by looking up ram prices, an older employee asked him if he was busy. The younger employee said he was helping us find ram. Then, the older employee told him to do something else, as if we were not even there. We waited for about 10 minutes for the younger employee to come back, or for someone else to help us. Neither happened, so we left. My wife and I both felt as if we were a major inconvenience, and will never trust them with our business again.

went in to have a battery replaced and a cord to my touchpad replaced. took 2 weeks, which I find to be ok since they had to wait on parts. when I finally got the call to come pick it up. I asked that the 2 repairs had been done. they forgot I even needed the cord to my touchpad... so I waited for 10 minutes while they disassembled by macbook and replaced that cord, lucky they had it in stock I guess. I go home and everything is working as it should and a few weeks later the bolts that hold on the bottom of the laptop were falling out. THEY DIDNT EVEN TIGHTEN THE THINGS DOWN. would you go to an automotive shop that cant get you lug nuts tight? no. I do not recommend the Place. very unprofessional and subpar repairs.

This place is the AWFUL! They have no work ethic and really have no concept on how to fix a computer. I brought in my laptop many of times because of a updating problem; they tried fixing it but just gave it back to me with a blank hard drive and nothing left. All of my work, music, and videos were gone... At first i thought it was an accident but when i brought it back to them the same thing happen and i was again charged an absurd amount. If you ever have a problem with your mac take it to Westerns IT department or take a road trip to an apple store because this was the biggest waste of time and money... DO NOT GO HERE!!!

I went to The Place on a Monday at 3:00, well within their hours of operation. When I checked the doors, they were locked. However, a light was on in the store and a person was standing behind the counter. When I knocked on the door, the person behind the counter actually ducked down so as not to be seen. The Place is a joke. The other bad reviews of The Place are spot on. If we stop patronizing it, they will hopefully go out of business, making room for a real functioning business in Bowling Green. Good Riddance!

I really wish I would have read Google reviews BEFORE I did business here. My repair was not made by the time I was promised. When I would call to get a status, I had to leave a voicemail every time and get a call back. I went to the store to request my computer back, repaired or not, Mr. Bitterling ( I think was his name) became very agitated and asked me if I wanted my computer back "in pieces". He was very argumentative, he looked disheveled and his demeanor was frightening. I will NEVER do business here again.

Walked in looking for a DAC (Digital to Analog Converter) so I asked both the guys working there and they acted like theyd never heard of such a thing. I go into a store showing off tech in the front window and some dude fiddling on a laptop expecting to come into contact with employees that are somewhat tech savvy. I guess thats what I get from trying to find something like that in a store that still sells Firewire cables like its ever been a relevant technology.

I love Apple products. I have a MacBook Pro, iPad, iPhone, Apple TV, and iPod. The Place makes me want to switch to Windows. It is one of the poorest excuses for a business I have seen. I have been calling for three days now trying to spend thousands of dollars for my business and they will not even pick up the phone. It is definitely worth the time to drive to the Apple store in Nashville or Louisville rather than doing business with The Place.
