Groomers Injured my dog. I do love the items at PetSmart and there customer service is great. Having said that, I will never use their groomers again. I took my Yorkie in to the groomers and he looked nice when I picked him up. When I got home I noticed that they had nicked him just under the tail. I understood how that can happen, my dog is very hyper and probably jerked while they were triming. Then later that night I removed the bandanna they had around his neck and found a sore the size of a golf ball. It looked like he had been severely burnt somehow and they just put a bandanna over it. Now I cant get my dog groomed because he freaks out at the site of a trimmer. I cant even take him in to PetSmart or hell start uncontrollably shaking.

My 12-pound Bichon/Lhasa Apso mix proved too much for FOUR groomers; they accused her of biting and charged me a "bad dog" fee and furthermore, they didnt use clippers, just hacked away at her fur with scissors. She had bloody scratches from the way she was "groomed" and she looked absolutely ragged. These people refused to even show me my dog until I paid at the cash register. My dog now runs under the couch when she sees scissors and Im afraid to take her to another groomer due to her extreme trauma. Mostly we just trim her here and there...I so wish we could have her professionally and COMPETENTLY groomed. But not at PetSmart...and they lost a lot of business from us. And believe me, I tell all dog owners about our horrible experience.

Theyre friendly enough, but the grooming department sucks. Mind you my dog is a short haired well behaved senior dog. I wanted to get her nails trimmed, ears cleaned, and a basic bath. Well they talked me into this top dog add on for an additional $20 some dollars consisting of a nail filing and teeth brushing. So I go to pick her up and she doesnt even smell clean. I pet her and a huge dust storm of white dog hair goes flying signifying to me that she wasnt even brushed after her bath, she still had brown eye discharge on her face, and one of her nails was bleeding. I was completely disappointed. All that for $50 some dollars. I cant say Ill be going back.

When we picked up our Yorkie she seemed very excited. They just handed her to us without any comments on her behavior, I thought that was strange. She didnt calm down after we got home, she was panting and acting strange for 4 hours. This was on a Sunday evening, we took her to emergency care where the vet said it looked like clipped her to close, her back end was red and looked sore. She advised us to give her a benadryl to calm her down. That finally calmed her down 5 hours after she was groomed. On top of everything else this was the worst hair cut she has ever had. She will not be going back. With the vet bill this grooming cost $130.00.

The wait is long and costs $45 for my 5 pound Yorkie. Most groomers act like they dont care the dogs have feelings, its mire like an assembly line and theyre going through the motions. Ive only been treated well there once by a Hispanic women who was warm, caring, and kept her word to the time frame. If she was running the shop Id go again and again! I now go to Pampered Pets on 17th St. Theyre newly remodeled and to cut my Yorkie they charge $35. Employees are warm and seem happy for business, another perk of local businesses.

Talked to the GM while he was working with another employee. He stopped what he was doing and took a sincere interest in my concerns. Made some recommendations that werent the most expensive and showed me some other deals they have running. Him and the other employee didnt pressure or try to sale anything. They addressed my concerns and showed me what was best for my dog and not for their bottom line. Way to go PetSmart, you have a couple of good employees here.

I love this shop and I love the groomers! They were always so sweet and sweet to my dog. They loved having her there and knew they would love to have my pekingnese. The only thing is its VERY expensive. it cost almost 80 bucks to get my pomeranian done there! So getting a second dog, I knew I would have to change groomers :( so sad as they made my pomeranian beautiful but the price is a killer

I absolutely loveee this place! I have been to petco, petland & I think that petsmart is the best store to go and buy your pet items & to adopt an animal. I adopted two parakeets and they look very healthy and precious. Everytime that I go there everything in the store is very clean. I recommend all of you to go and do your shooping there!

A person loses her pet and has 3 cans of food on hand. Lost receipt and they give you a refund on a Gift Card for a place youll never go to again. Thats not right especially when I called and said that they could look it up by phone number. That didnt happen. Like I said "I Wont Be Back To Shop There Ever Again "

I have become very disappointed in PetSmart. I have my dogs on your Authority brand large breed weight management adult dog food, 34 lb bag. More times then I can count your Topeka, KS store has been out of this product. Starting to consider shopping elsewhere.

I like this store a lot. Its fun to bring our dog in and easy to meet other dog lovers. It seems like theres never anyone around when you need help, though. And they werent very helpful when we tried booking a grooming appointment.

They are so great with pets. I take all of my pets there to the Banfield clinic and they are absolutely wonderful. Couldnt ask for a better veterinary clinic. Wont go anywhere else for my furbabies needs

Nice staff but always seem confused, wish they had more of a supply of leashes and collars they have really cut back. But so grateful they decided to start carrying Science Diet again!

Took our 70 lb. Golden Retriever in for trim and toe nails. They did an amazing job for a very fair price. They were gentle and patient. Highly recommend them.
