I dont understand why all of these people are so darn negative? Hmm too bad for them, but I have had EXCELLENT customer service from the associates. When I needed help finding something that my dog needed I was very quickly shown where it was and also given great explanations about how products work. The associates have a ton of knowledge about dogs (in my case) and I love hearing about information on dogs when I go there, which is very often (more than two to three times a week). I take my dog there to socialize and will even take him there during our walks since we near by. I have purchased many items for my family member (dog), harness, food treats, and even purchased a doggie jacket that was on a year end sale for $5 (originally $40!) and its a great sports jacket. The best thing is that Petco is only 2 min away from the apartments that I live in. Its so convenient. All in all its a great store and can only share my honest opinion. Im a prior military service member of 8 years active duty and I know when Im being treated poorly, believe me Ill let you know if I was treated with disrespect, and this is NOT the case here at Petco. I am amazed at how many negative comments there are because I have had NO problems. When and if I do run into any problem I will be sure to let the store manager know what it is so that it can be addressed properly. Anyway dont be steared away from coming to this Petco location because of a few individuals who are nitpicking about small things. The case about worms in dog food... This is not Petcos problem, but instead the manufacturer of the products fault and should have not been directed at Petco. Im just saying.

Had a horrible experience a month or so ago with this location revolving around my dog at the groomers. Decided never to go back. When i did the customer survey the manager called (because follow up was required) he didnt seem apologetic at all, didnt offer a refund or any other coupon to continue future business with them and rushed me off the phone. My dog is currently in need of another grooming session & I reluctantly called to schedule appointment because location is convient the lady was so rude on the phone when I asked her to speak clearer because I didnt understand. I wont take my dog back service is horrible, groomers questionable, and not worth the aggravation.

I dropped my dog off for grooming this morning for his 11am appointment. I called at 3pm to see if he was close to done, they said he was on the table and would be 20-30 minutes. I had them confirm my phone number and hung up. After an hour and no call I decided to just stop in. He was done, 5 hours later. He is a small 20lb poodle mix that they were giving a buzz cut to. 5 hours? The best part is that they just trimmed his head. The hair on his head and face is still long and uneven. Will NEVER go back. I didnt ask them to trim his head more because I wanted him back before they close. Photos attached so you can see how short the body is compared to his face.

I came in here looking for their aqueon evolve line of all in one aquariums because petco had them online cheaper. I came in and asked if they matched their online prices. It was a wasted trip to the store, it seems a little odd that they dont price match their own online prices. Regardless i saved myself the trouble of trying to figure that out and went down to petsmart to buy what i wanted, saving myself the $10 mark up petco had on the same kit. they do have a nice selection of fish though. larger than any other ive been too. their bettas are nice too. Prices are always a little higher than petsmart and online stores.

If you purchase a Petco Classic Training Crate For Dogs and have trouble with assembly, heres a tip: Apparently, at Step 2 after you have unfolded the crate into a a box shape and the gate cant be pulled up, because its caught and/or hooked by two wires. Stand the crate up on end, so the hang-ups are at the top and then with normal finger strength unhook one wire, and then the other. The gate can now be pulled up into place. Thats the secret -- I just saved you a trip back into Petco with your crate.

They do not honor coupons your recieve in the mail, they do not honor prices from their online shopping. Staff does not seem to be able to answer questions. They give no discounts even if buying in bulk. Tho this location is convenient, I am going back to shopping at Petsmart.

I took my dog there and Cheryl did a horrible job. She said she nipped my dog with the clippers . I took him home and had to go get supplies to clean my dog up. She didnt nip him with the clippers she took a chunk out of his skin. I will never take my dog to petco again .

poor customer service because thier wasnt any at all ! couldve walk out the door with all kinds of merchandise and nobody wouldve notice . nobody at the cash registers . Where was all the employees ? Close the store down because it already looks and feels closed .

Overall this was a good pet store. Its very popular, I imagine getting an appointment for your dog would be difficult. Their selection is great and their employees are nice too. The only downside is the area theyre in is not exactly nice... Roads are petty poor.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff who were happy to answer our cat-related questions. Our kitten had a great time exploring the store. The cat towers are a bit pricey compared with whats online but most other things are fairly comparable price-wise.

Store was clean. Wasnt many employees around but few I saw friendly. At one point check out was super busy and they called for help. I went to the rescue pet adoption area which is in the store bit not operated by the store. They were very nice.

It is good enough, although the Petco on 75th and Metcalf has always had better service. Prices are reasonable but typically higher than PetSmart. They do price match guarantees though so have PetSmart on speed dial to save some money.

Took my dog there to be groomed, Anna did a horrible job. My dogs face was all uneven, it also looked like her nails were cut too short (ouch!) A few nails werent cut at all. Wouldve given 1 star but they gave me a full refund.

Great store for getting in and out quickly and the checkout lady even noticed I had the wrong product for what I needed and made sure I was all set with what I truly needed. Great customer service and attention to detail here!

We purchased puppy food here, Purina Beneficial Puppy, for our 6 week old, 3 lbs puppy. It was full of live worms. Seriously, disgusting and not safe!!!

I got my first set of "Bettas fish here and the customer service was not that great... Didnt sound like nor feel like the workers wanted to help.
