Absolutely incredible craftsmanship! For years, I have had an affinity for sunflowers. Theres a bit of religious symbolism in the sunflower for me, so my fiance decided he wanted to make me a sunflower engagement ring. It was quite a challenge considering the detail that needed to fit on my tiny finger (size 5) without overpowering it. Marsha and Richard were up for the design challenge though. Every petal is uniquely shaped 14K yellow gold, with a weaving flower stem band and seven pave diamonds for the center seeds. It is stunning. And pictures dont even do it justice because it loses the glitter effect that the collection of diamonds have. The wedding band took just as much talent! Marsha had to create a shadow band that organically wrapped the back side of the flower and band with these itty bitty, beautiful diamonds. Quite the feat! I am beyond wowed by their work and the generosity of my fiance to make this unique ring come true. And! they are wonderful people. We loved collaborating on the design with them. Will definitely be coming back to them for any other custom jewelry design challenges!

I was in search of a company to purchase an engagement ring and in my online search found Dolgins. I had a previous very poor experience with a big box jeweler and knew I wanted something different and better. I can say my experience at Dolgins was very different than any other jeweler I have previously encountered. Richard and his team really made me in charge of this purchase from the design, picking the diamond, as well as the time line. Their communication was on point as I was made aware if there were any problems or delays in the custom engagement ring process. I really felt like he was looking out for my best interests. They actually sent the casting back to be re-cast because after polishing the initial casting the results did not meet their expectations. I could not be happier with my purchase, experience, and overall quality that Richard and his team brought to my purchase. I will be returning with my fiance to discuss wedding band options. Great Experience! I really enjoyed the personal attention I was able to get at Richard Dolgin Private Jeweler. I visited many jewelry stores while looking for my engagement ring and diamond. Perhaps I did things a bit out of the ordinary, but I found a setting that I LOVED first. When it came time to set the diamond and size the ring, I felt a bit nervous about dropping it off at a chain jewelry store. I decided to look for a jeweler with many years of experience whom I could speak with face to face about the whole process. I”m detail oriented, so I wanted to know about the entire process of sizing, setting, plating and polishing. Meeting in his new office and studio was great. Richard was happy to answer all my questions and he completed the diamond setting,ring sizing and polishing very quickly. I absolutely love the finished result and will be working with Richard to purchase a wedding band too.

Here is a note I sent to Richard after completing a new Ring for my wife and the repair of her wedding ring.
