I chose to go to the Iowa City Kmart with my 5 costly prescriptions this time because I am paying for them myself due to no insurance coverage and searched online to find the cheapest prices for my medication. When I dropped off the prescriptions I was the only one in the vicinity of the pharmacy and specifically told the pharmacist I needed them filled now, one I needed to take tonight and two first thing in the morning. She said she would fill them immediately and started to work. I walked two aisles over picked up some dog food, walked two aisles farther and got some laundry soap. I checked back and she was still working away so I wandered a few aisles down to the school supplies and picked my granddaughter up a backpack. I then went back to check on my prescriptions and found the pharmarcy was totally dark and closed for the night. I went to the service desk to explain my problem, of course they cant get into the pharmacy. The dumpy looking night manager said he cant enter the pharmacy so he would call the pharmacist to return and get me my meds. He wandered back and explained she just couldnt return tonight so I would have to come back in the morning. So as I am checking out with my items and tears running down my face because I am in a panic, I ask the service desk worker do they not announce the pharmacy is closing, cant they call a customer to tell them their prescriptions are ready if they know they are waiting for them? She said they never do. How stupid can you be? She knew the importance of my medications, now I am forced to play russian roulette with my health because some pharmacist was in a hurry to get off of work. Someone should be talking to that dingbat and get her priorities straight. She knew what kind of meds these were and their importance. You dont just ignore the needs of a customer, especially when it is this important!

Havent been in a Kmart in years, since most of them closed. Felt like a time machine had transported me back a decade - looked just like K-Mart when I was a teen. Prices were good on some products, mostly seasonal. Luggage and food items were higher than other stores that sell same products. Employees in general seemed poorly trained and customer service was mediocre. One nice thing is they still offer layaway which helped my mom make a larger purchase.

I want to like Kmart, I do. Everytime I got there though, there is only one checkout line open so the wait tends to be pretty long. I also experienced that Kmart uses a Telecheck system for processing checks. Thanks to this system if you do not write checks often but need to while at Kmart, the system will deny your check. Boooooooooooo Oh well, looks like Ill have to drive to Target from now on.

This place is ok for when no one else has what you are looking for and the employees need to care and actually pick up the fallen merchandise off the floor and dust it off. The kwash really needs cleaned up, it says someone is in laundry area but no one here. Plus the place doesnt have wifi so go somewhere else.

They never have anything you need there or want, floor is dirty, you cant find help anywhere besides the front and barely anyone is up there- people steal in there all the time and people get robbed outside. Heck, this old couple got robbed in plain sight and it was still light outside!

Not the cleanest store in the world but excellent customer service a young man with glasses on a few days ago taught me about true customer service everyone who works here is so nice br thanks to that young man I will return again and again to KMart

My experience was ok. Baritone need attention. You can tell, that the store is closing in September. Sad. I used to like K-Mart. They shouldnt have switched their brands from years ago. Its hard, finding something I like in clothing now.

Well its a Kmart. The staff was pretty helpful one particular person was very helpful. But I still wasnt able to get what I wanted, apparently theres a run on The Kayaks that are on sale and no rain check was offered. So three stars it is

Everything is always on the floor. It looks like a teenagers bedroom. The dont care about the store. The only reason they get one star is because theres a super cute guy with long hair that works service desk sometimes.

Its old and run down. The only reason why I went there is to see what they had on sale. Apparently the store is closing in September and everything is on clearance. Right now items are only marked down 20% off.

They honestly still have blue light specials, it brought back memories. Staff were all a pleasure to work with,I went to use their new lease program. Ty for the opportunity to shop my way and stay reasonable.

I actually enjoy this kmart quite a bit. They always have good stuff and good deals. I was kind of skeptical of kmart for a long time but its actually pretty nice and a lot closer to home than walmart.

Love shopping at Kmart but notice to day that they raised there clearance prices up with new tag over the clearance so things I would of bought changed my mine seem they was higher now thanks

Most of their TCG card game products are over their retail price its so ridiculous. Keep going there and it always seems they get untouched cuz the prices are not matching retail.

They do not accept their own coupons. They are lairs and rude about it. The store is filthy and the checkout times are ridiculously long. It is a terrible store.
